Come stay in beautiful downtown, historic Castle Rock! Located 35 miles north of Colorado Springs and 30 miles south of Denver. One bedroom apartment in home. Private entrance, private 420 friendly patio, private off street parking. We are walking distance from restaurants, shops, bars. Hiking, biking trails nearby. Skiing and snow sports an easy one and half hour drive away. If you are visiting Colorado for travel we are centrally located and just minutes from major highways.

About owner/property manager

I am semi-retired and do accounting and bookkeeping services from my home. I am originally from back east (Ohio) and have lived in Colorado since 1972. I am almost a native!! I enjoy getting together with friends, gardening, animals of any kind and always.....a good glass of wine. I look forward to meeting many new people and sharing this beautiful Colorado weather with them!!

Why owner/property manager chose Castle Rock

This is an historic home built in 1922 as the new home/office for Castle Rocks new dentist in town. I love older homes and neighborhoods and have lived here for the past 44 years! You will find lots of history in our little town.

Lovely place, great location!

Julie is a friendly, thoughtful, gracious host, and her garden-level apartment is very pretty and comfortable! We were so glad we chose to stay in this charming place rather than a hotel. Loved the easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants, and the quick drive to I-25. Loved having meals and drinks on the private garden patio! Very comfy bed and a great shower. Even though it's a pet-friendly place, there was no pet smell, and everything was extremely clean. We were there on a hot weekend, and though there's no AC, the apartment always stayed cool and comfortable. We highly recommend Julie's lovely place!

The apartment was really cute and the decor was perfect for the mountains however there was never mention of a extremely loud railway located directly across the street that passed thru about every 5 hours!!

Owner's Response: I am sorry that the train was an irritant to this guest. I don't make a mention of it as most of my quests have not found it to be a problem. I wish that I could control the trains but I cannot. I will mention that Ms Poole had promised me by email that she would be bringing crates for her two dogs that she was traveling with. I was very disappointed that she did not bring crates and then the dogs were left alone in my apartment for long periods of time. I would not host this quest in the future.

Perfect stay

I rented this apartment for three weeks. It was the perfect little place for myself and my small dog. I enjoyed the outdoor space where many squirrels and birds would come eat peanuts from my hand. Julie was very accommodating and handled anything I needed. The apartment is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and some interesting little clothing and antique shops.

So cute!

Julie the landlord was great. Very sweet and quick to respond to guestions. The location was perfect. Close to shopping and eating. The space was very comfortable and charming. We had a wonderful trip and stay here at this location.

One recommendation is to make sure the pet rules are very clear at time of rental.

A great one bedroom stay! Very conveniently located downtown. You can walk to everything you need; dinner, shopping, parks and convenience stores. The owner is very accommodating and willing to make your stay comfortable and peaceful.
