Why Owner/Property Manager chose Pollock Pines
Exactly 1 hour from Folsom, a place where we can enjoy swimming/boating on the lake in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. Pollock Pines
What makes this Cabin unique
The area encompassing Pollock Pines is in a heavily timbered mountain region situated along the ridge top on the south side of the South Fork of the American River. It is approximately 10 to 15 miles east of Placerville and 60 miles east of Sacramento on Highway 50. It includes the area from the American River on the north to Jenkinson Lake (Sly Park) and the Mormon Emmigrant Trail on the south.

I came for a week or work. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. Just want I needed.
Well stocked cabin and perfect location!
Stayed here in order to check out the vineyards in the area. It was a beautiful area that radiated peace. There was a musty smell but we opened doors and it cleared right up. We would stay here again.
Quiet and relaxing...
Very comfortable, very casual, very relaxing
The “Blue A Frame” was Home away from home. We could not have been more satisfied. If you want to relax, make this your destination.
We had a nice stay at the A Frame cabin. Cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The game collection and DVDs were a plus. Everyone had a great time during the stay.
Perfect Cabin for a Relaxing Weekend Away
My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the Bay Area to unplug and unwind for a while. I can't tell you how amazing this cabin was. We have rented cabins before, and this was the cleanest, most comfortable and well decorated one we have stayed in. Wildlife was abundant , the breeze that flowed through the cabin kept us cool on a hot weekend, and the owner was incredible. We had a small issue with the gas grill, and he was so willing to drive an hour just to help us out. Fantastic! Thank you, Ray. We will be back!
Also, if you are looking for a really great romantic dinner, Smith Flat House (~20 min drive) was superb!
