We loved this property! Everything about it felt well-put-together. Very luxurious, private, and relaxing. We enjoyed traveling to Frederick and checking out the parks and shopping!
This is my first experience with HomeAway and I must say I was blown away. We had an amazing time at the Grove Guest House. The description could not have matched the house better. The GPS found it perfectly which was nice. Before we even got there, Deb had been communicating with me every detail we would need to know down to where the lights were located and what was near us for entertainment. When we got there, there was wine, cheese, crackers, orange juice, coffee, tea, bagels, cream cheese, cinnamon buns, etc. I could not believe how amazing this was already and it just got better. The house is decorated beautifully. There were 4 good size bedrooms and a fully furnished kitchen. The property is just absolutely breath taking. The pool and hot tub were just the cherry on top. There was full tv and movies, wifi, and plenty of parking. I really don't have anything bad to say. She stocked the bathroom with shampoo and conditioner. Laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap, towels, pillows, linens were all included. There were games in the library. Deb was absolutely so kind. When we went in the hot tub the first night she came out and put music on for us. She gave us suggestions for food when we asked.
I wish we were able to spend more time there. We will definitely be back when we visit D.C.! Thank you Deb!!
Would absolutely return should the need arise! Perfect place for our large family
Stayed here for the weekend I was getting married in Frederick. The guest house has plenty of room and all the amenities you could ask for. There was fresh fruit and other small groceries waiting for us when we arrived which was very nice. The pool is great!! Couldn't have asked for anything more. I will definitely come back for my anniversary. Thank you Deb!!
I have traveled a lot and stayed in many vacation rentals and have never really written a review. However after staying at this property I felt like I had to. The property looks even better than the pictures. Both the guesthouse and the grounds are beautiful, clean and well kept. Deb was amazing and extremely helpful with anything we needed during our stay. My kids loved the pool and even went night swimming. The colored lights in the pool at night were a big hit.
I would highly recommend this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This event was a reunion for my parents' grandchildren. We enjoyed the pool, the fireflies, and playing football on the lawn. The kitchen was easy to use and easy to clean. We played lots of card games, used the TV for a slideshow of my nephew's trip to Japan, and played ball. The location was perfect for a daytrip to Harper's Ferry. The hostess is kind, friendly, and generous! Everything was perfect!
