Clean, quiet, beautiful, close to everything!!
We had a wonderful stay here. Unfortunately I got very sick in Lisbon and we arrived a day late in Sintra. Our gracious host let us say an a additional day so we could still see this beautiful city. We are forever grateful!! We had a private sunny patio where we were able to sip on local Port. The location couldn't have been more perfect!! A 2 minute walk to the center of the city and a 15 minute walk to the train station to Lisbon made everything easy!! The best things was that it was so quiet at night, where we could sleep well and be ready for another day of exploring. Our place was beautifully decorated with Portuguese tile and local art. We loved this place and would give it the highest rating!!!
Loved the accommodation and Sintra
We absolutely loved our stay . The accommodation was perfect for us. Dulce made us very welcome and we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of port. We stayed for six nights and found plenty to do. The situation was perfect being so close to everything yet the accommodation was so quiet
A relaxing stay
The apartment was close to restaurants and main attractions and in a very quiet location. We were within walking distance of Quinta da Regalia and Sintra Palace.
A week in Sintra
We had a week in Sintra and it's a truly magical place.
Sintra, is a very busy tourist Town and we were there over the Easter holidays.
So the peace and tranquility of the lovely small bungalow we had, was very welcome after our full days of exploring both Sintra and outlying areas.
The Bungalow had everything to cover our needs and was owned and run by a lovely family Mum, Daughter and Husband in Law, Maria, Maria and 'Charlie'.
THANKS to all the above for making our stay with you so enjoyable and comfortable.
Cheers Andy & Di

Beautiful. Clean. Quiet.
We couldn't have been happier here and were sad to leave! The unit is really, really cute. The bedroom window looks over the private garden of the owner and we watched the clouds and moon at night. The location is a just couple of blocks off the crowded, noisy main road and somehow, despite the short distance, it is absolutely quiet. Nice patio with mid-morning sun. And it is very, very clean. Maria was friendly, helpful and just nice to talk with. The place is magical, really.
Thank you very much!!
Characterful, Quiet and Convenient
This propoperty is an ideal base for a couple to explore the rich and historic area of Sintra. Its a little old bungalow very close to the historic centre of Sintra tucked away down a very quiet residential allay just 50m from all the action. The owners are close buy and are really friendly and helpful.
Tips for Sintra:
To get to Pena and the Fort take a Tuktuk up the hill for 5 euros each, then walk back down one of the trails. There are buses for 5.5 euros each, but we never saw one which wasn't completely full - so that was not an option.
There are no supermarkets in the historic centre, so do a big shop in Pingo's near the train station which is an excellent well stocked supermarket.
