Each room has it's own ambiance, like the Tuscany inspired stippled walls in the great room, or the elegant shades of green and white in the dining room.
If you're a history buff, you'll be interested in the fact that you are only a stone's throw from one of the most important archaeological finds in the world.
Right across the canal, in 1927, several amateur archaeologists discovered over 1,000 Calusa Indian artifacts, preserved by the odd chemical composition of a "muck pond". You might enjoy the local museum to find out more about it, and the early Marco Island settlers.

Excellent location, pet friendly, perfect for boaters
This property is very nice, clean and comfortable for our family. Most time spent on lanai enjoying view of the canal. Hot tub was awesome to help relax after a long day of sun and fun. Dogs also enjoyed small fenced yard with grass to play in. Such easy access to open water with the boat, that was really great. We rented a boat for the week and were out to open water every day in just a few minutes. (In the past, we've spent way too much of our vacation idling though canals to get to open water, but not this time!) The property manager left some charming gifts and treats for us and the dogs, which was so thoughtful. We've rented several houses in different parts of Florida and never experienced such a nice personal touch! Also, helpful hints, notes and literature about the island that were so helpful for first time visitors to this beautiful place. Marco Island is now our favorite vacation spot in Florida and we can't wait to go back!
Located in Olde Marco Island. Many restaurants and entertainment in the immediate area.
