Park your car and throw away the keys! This newly renovated 1930s beach cottage is the perfect setting for a couples retreat, girlfriend getaway or family vacation! Located on the south end of St. Simons Island in the Pier Village district, this cozy cottage is only blocks away from the ocean & fishing pier!

Beautifully decorated to highlight the owners’ artistic background, this home features 1 queen bed in each bedroom and a day bed with trundle in the bonus room. The open floor plan is ideal for small gatherings and entertaining. Each room offers a large flat screen television.

The kitchen is complete with everything you will need to make your stay feel like you are at home. The washer & dryer are conveniently located next to the side door which makes shaking off the sand and throwing beach towels in the wash easy.

Right next door you will discover the Village Inn & Pub! With this cottage rental you will have access to the courtyard and pool area at the Inn, as well as live music every Thursday, Friday & Saturday inside the Pub.

About Chelsea Hill

I grew up in Atlanta, always vacationing in the Golden Isles. My husband and I got married on Jekyll Island, although we have lived our married lives in Michigan. As a Southerner, I dislike the white fluffy stuff that Michigan is known for during the winter months. Therefore, St. Simons.

Why Chelsea Hill chose St Simons Island

We love vintage, crumbly, distressed things in all aspects of our collections. Cars, motorcycles, antiques, and art. This beautiful home was all of that and uninhabitable when we purchased. We have made it livable, while trying to retain as much of the original charm and unique character as possible.

What makes this cottage unique

We are walking distance to beach, sun, park, shopping, food and drink. We make use of all the highbrow and lowerbrow options in St. Simons and love them all!

What A Location!

What a great house! Right in the middle of the Village - walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, the Pier -everything! A vintage home that has been fabulously renovated. I was told that the house is owned by an artist, and you can certainly tell with the great décor. Not your cookie-cutter rental house. Brand new kitchen, bathrooms and open living space created without losing the historic charm. Great screened-in porch on the front to watch the village action go by, but set back for privacy. Everything you need is supplied if you want to cook, but why bother with two great restaurants across the street. We love St. Simons, but love it even more with this house. We will definitely be back! I'm afraid to tell all my friends about this great find - I want to be able to come back all the time and they will feel the same way.

Artistist and Adorable. Just park your car!!!!!!!! You are in the Right place!!!!!

When we first saw the house, we was very interested. It looks like the Village Inn next door. So we knew there was Beach history here. You enter the screened porch and you think about sitting out there at night and having a glass of wine. When you go into the front door, you feel Very Welcome. The living room is cozy, even though it is open to the dining room and a great kitchen. We loved the furnishing and art work. Each bedroom has a personality and Very comfortable. The back sunroom, is so inviting. You immediately think of reading on one side and games and art on the other.

An advantage is that you can just walk to the Village, pier, lighthouse, restaurants, & shops!!!! We will be back soon!!!!!!!!

Lovely eclectic cottage within walking distance to EVERYTHING! Clean and spacious with all the comforts of home. Parks and restaurants just steps away from your front door. Special thanks to the owner who made sure that my short stay was a memorable one! St Simons is a fabulous beachy community with boutiques and shops of all kinds. Bring a bike and ride to your hearts content. It was so nice to JUST RELAX! I would definitely rent this very "cool" cottage again!
