About the property

Comfortable rural house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 terraces.

This newly renovated original Tinajo house has a large lounge with two double glass doors, both leading out to a south facing terrace with a most unusual fabulous view into an old extinct volcano, the bottom of which has been planted by the local people.

Terrace: Matching solid iron/wood garden furniture, sun beds to while away the hours and a large canvas sun umbrella.

Inside: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 of which are ensuite). A beautiful inside covered, light, bright patio makes a bright dining room, which is between the lounge/kitchen and the bedrooms. A rustic table with 6 chairs makes this patio a cosy place for entertaining. The kitchen is brand new and fully fitted out with microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing up machine as well as a small table to seat 2. The light living room contains several comfortable sofas, chairs and tables all of which are easily moveable. Sat. TV and DVD's available. Down 2 steps and there is a large desk area with WI-FI connection 24h.

On the roof of the house there is a terrace with a beautiful view of the ocean. You also have ocean view from two of the bedrooms.

You can leave your bikes, buggy or luggage in a separate storage.

Wonderful

We just spent two weeks over X-mas and New Year here with 5 people and we had a great time. The house is large - the terrace sunny all day long and sheltered from the winds. The location was ideal for us keen to explore both the volcanoes and the beach of Famara as well as all the other beautiful parts to visit. The house is clean and contains all that one might need. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I loved watng the sun climb over the eastern side of the volva o rim and set on the other side.

Maison typique au calme

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison très fonctionnelle et agréable. La vue est splendide et l'environnement très agréable. Bien placée pour se déplacer dans toute l'île. Un guide de randonnées et à votre disposition et Petra a été disponible et réactive.

Interessante Lage, gutes Preis-Leisungsverhältnis

Das Haus liegt interessant im Krater eines Vulkans. Die Aussicht beschränkt sich auf das innere des Kraters und erlaubt damit interessante Einblicke in die morgendlichen Aktivitäten der hiesigen Weinbauern. Das Foto mit dem grandiosen Blick über Krater UND Insel stammt allerdings von der Bushaltestelle ca 250 m vom haus entfernt und zeigt das Haus hinten rechts in der Ecke. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut und sauber. Lediglich das Ehebett ist mit 160 cm recht schmal und ist eher etwas für frisch verliebte als nächtliche Wälzer. Das Haus liegt in einer normalen Wohngegend direkt an einer wenig befahrenen Nebenstraße. Ein, zwei Mal ist unsere Nachtruhe von sportlichem Motorengeräusch und Hundegebell unterbrochen worden. Verglichen mit dem Partylärm in den südlichen Orten Lanzarotes aber wohl immer noch eine vergleichsweise ruhige Lage. Überhaupt ist die Lage auf der Insel genial für alle, die sich nicht in den Touristentrubel im Süden stützen wollen. Insgesamt ist das Haus daher eine Empfehlung wert für Alle, die sich an den kleineren oben genannten Schwächen nicht stören und bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Familien mit größerem Platzbedarf.

La maison est conforme au descriptif donne sur le site, tout le nécessaire est à l intérieur, c est propre et calme. La maison est bien située pour visiter l île et tout proche du parc Timanfaya. La propriétaire est très accueillante et disponible. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.

This lovely newly refurbished country house is built on the edge of the Guigan crater and has a one off view inside a quiet, cultivated crater. Where Mancha Blanca nearly joins with Tinajo, one must definitely take a look in the deep. Inside the flat crater of Calera de Guigan the farmers have planted practically the whole area with all sorts of different vegetable and fruit. If one continues driving to Tinajo along the main street one will find a good assortment of shops, including a supermarket, a bank with hole in the wall, a chemist and several restaurants. Going the other way to Mancha Blanca one will find the famous church of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores. Every Sunday between 9 am and 2 pm there is a small farmers market where the local farmers sell their wares. About 2 km further on there is a Centro Visitante Mancha Blanca (with hourly audiovision) telling all about how the volcanic island was formed. Then on to Timanfaya National Parc. There are many beautiful walks all around the villages.
