Combining my New England upbringing, appreciation for colonial architecture, and 20+ year career in the design industry, the completion of Sow's Ear is the realization of a life-long dream.

This was a fully “hands-on” project. From initially discovering the severely neglected property, to the finish touches on the landscape & pool design, every detail was carefully considered and executed. Paramount in my design vision has always been in the creation of spaces where life is lived; family and friends gather, and memories are made.

Beautiful Barnstable Rental

Every year, I plan a summer vacation for my entire family. As our family continues to grow, finding a large enough home to accommodate us has been a challenge. I honestly can say, this has been the only trip in the past 10 years that no one has complained. This absolutely stunning home is not only large and perfect for groups, but it's incredibly warm for being a home of its size. Every single room is beautiful and comfortable. The owners have impeccable taste.

We also found that while we loved congregating in the living room or around the dining table, it was nice to have these other areas for people to go and read, relax, play a game, etc.

The saltwater pool is beautiful and private. There is a lovely farmers market a short walk away.

It is such a wonderful vacation home. I can assure anyone who stays here that they will truly enjoy it.
