Kay's cottage is a truly unique rustic lakeside summer cottage in Maine. Built in 1895 on a granite bluff overlooking a crystal clear lake 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. Quiet and remote for those who want to escape modern life for a time. There is no WIFI ,noTV,
no washer/dryer, no dishwasher. There's no central heat but there is a fireplace in the living room. There are three bedrooms upstairs and porch rockers to sit and listen to the loons. Go back to a quieter more peaceful time in history. There are antique rockers, a Victorian fainting couch and photos of my ancestors lounging outside the cottage in the 1800's. There is a stove/oven, fridge, microwave and bathroom with hot shower. There's also a canoe available for your use. We accept only Saturday to Saturday rentals.
