Spacious 1 bedroom third floor apartment (741 Square Feet) with eat-in kitchen, bathroom with dressing area, large spacious living room. Bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a quality ( queen size air mattress (set up time: 2.5 minutes) for additional guests. We also will have set up for you upon request. You can also relax in the yard and perhaps share a glass of wine with the host on the charming Victorian porch.

Walk 700 steps to catch the bus into NYC or walk a bit further down the street (about 1 mile) to jump on the train and take the Midtown Manhattan Direct Line (Boonton Line). If you want to visit the Jersey shore, you can be there in about an hour to hit the beautiful and quaint Monmouth County area. You can simply elect to stay in Montclair which was recently voted one of the 2015 America's Great Main Streets.

Montclair is an amazing place to live and I am thrilled to share my home with you. We live in walking distance to the bus and trains into New York City. You can walk to all the wonderful restaurants, bars and shopping areas. You can also walk to Whole Foods and convenience stores. If you like to run or bike, there are beautiful parks and breathtaking paths along Montclair's tree lined streets and beautiful homes.

You access the apartment on the side entrance with key coded access. Sensored lights greet you for safety and convenience when arriving and leaving during the evening. Come and go as you please. You may sit in the yard during the warmer months. If you want to grill, just ask. There is a Weber grill if you choose to eat in and want to cook.

We offer laundry, errand and daily tidying services for additional fees. If you would like the pantry and refrigerator stocked, just send the list and we will have all your items there for you upon arrival. Fees are applicable and a credit card number is required. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and if you need something, just ask. I am sure I have it.

This is a family friendly home. Both apartments on the first and second floor are occupied (one by the host). We want you to have fun but do not want loud music, parties and smoking is strictly prohibited. Special rules for pets are provided if pets are our guests too;).

Remove your shoes on the landing before entering the apartment. I strive to keep it clean and sanitized.

I bought this property with my "ex" because I loved what Montclair had to offer relating to being a diverse community overall with the people who live here and what it has to offer. I also had my eye out on the economic development of the town and the commitment to make it better and better including the Midtown Direct line right into NYC.

What makes this apartment unique

I love Victorian homes and wraparound porches so this house fulfilled one of my dreams;). I have been working on restoring this home for almost 18 years and I have felt very blessed to live here. I love how the second and third floor are open and sunny;).
