The approximately 68 square meter apartment with parquet flooring is stylish and modern furnishings. The living room has a large comfortable sofa and trundle. From here a small southwest-facing balcony leads to the subsequent large terrace, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. A separate living room adjoins the living room, separated by a sliding door. This provides space for a dining table and a sofa bed (100 x 200) or on request twin beds. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and large wardrobe. The fully equipped kitchen is decorated with branded appliances such as induction cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has a shower-bath.
The apartment has a LCD flat screen in HD quality and Internet Flatrate. Garden furniture, bed linen and towels are available.
Environment: All conveniences are nearby, as well as a variety of diverse cafés, pubs and restaurants. The big South Park with the People's Garden, very close, offers plenty of recreational fun for adults and children.
The central location of the various downtown areas with short distances can be reached, including the luxury shopping street Königsallee (Kö) in 800 m distance.
The train station is within walking distance and offers connections to all directions.
The journey to the fair or to the airport takes only 15-20 minutes.
For a trip to Cologne and the Ruhr area, you need only 30 minutes driving time.
Owner did not return call or text but found keys with the building manager on arrival. No air conditioning as listed in contract and we couldn't find the "dumpster" for the trash. Ignore google maps and exit the back of the train station for a 5 minute walk to apartment. Nice, clean apartment with an outside patio table that you share with another apartment. Washer and dishwasher in kitchen with fair size fridge. Street is a little noisy with the windows open but two busses run in front of the property. There is also a Netto just a few doors down for cheap groceries. My only complaint was barely warm water and low pressure in the shower. I would stay here again if in Dusseldorf.
For the second year in a row we rented this nice appartment for our 5 day business trip to Düsseldorf. The appartment is spacious and clean and very well situated in a calm street a few minutes from the train station in city center.
All possible comfort is included in the appartment with a well equiped kitchen and bathroom, and the little balcony on the backyard is just another positive touch.
The friendly and welcoming contact with the owners , who each time make sure we have everything we need, just makes it even more pleasant. We look forward to our next trip and would highly recommend this appartment to anybody passing through Düsseldorf.
We stayed in this apartment for two nights, and could happily have stayed many more. It was absolutely sparkling clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and had nice dishes and glasses that made us feel quite at home. There was a lovely balcony/terrace, though it was raining and we didn't get a chance to use it. Our kids slept on a sofa bed in the dining area, which had doors allowing the room to be fully closed off. The apartment is on a main street, though it was plenty quiet for sleeping. Definitely take the offered parking space for five euros/day as there is quite limited street parking. The owner, Peter, was very kind and met us early on our check-out day when we had a sick child and had to leave before we would have liked -- we will have to go back.
Volledig uitgerust, schoon en goed onderhouden appartement, ook in de keuken is alles aanwezig voor koken voor de hele familie; de eigenaar is in de buurt en goed bereikbaar indien nodig.
Studenten bij de buren hadden vaker een feestje na de bedtijd van de kinderen maar nooit later dan tot 10 uur 's avonds.
Aan te bevelen activiteiten: hop on-hop off bus vanuit VVV tegenover het station (stopt ook bij veel mooie musea zoals Kunstsammlung en Kunstpaleis); met de trein naar Neanderthal (kan ook met huurfiets van het hoofdstation).
Man konnte zur Hauptbahnhof durch ruhige Strassen laufen. Abends konnte man auf dem Balkon oder auf der Terrasse sitzen, und Vogelsang horen.
Die Wohnung ist für unsere Zwecke sehr gut geschnitten, bietet genügend Platz für 2-3 Personen und liegt 5 Minuten fußläufig vom Hbf entfernt. Zu Fuss erreicht man die Innenstadt und gute asiatische Restaurants in ca. 10-15 Minuten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten und eine gemütliche Couch runden das Wohnerlebnis ab. Bei frühlingshaften Temperaturen kann man auch den sonnigen Terrassenplatz genießen. Wir haben uns in diesem multikulturellen Viertel sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten gerne wiederkommen. Die Freundlichkeit des Vermieters und schnelle Hilfsbereitschaft wissen wir sehr zu schätzen.
Dusseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia is situated on the Rhine. The city is a cultural center with numerous museums and theaters. Dusseldorf is famous for its shopping streets around the Königsallee, referred to as "Kö". The Old Town, which likes to be called "the longest bar in the world", draws its visitors with many pubs where the typical city Altbier is served. The Castle Square with Castle Tower is one of the most beautiful places in Germany. From here, the internationally acclaimed Rheinuferpromenade invites you to stroll and offers a wonderful panorama. This goes along the old town with its many historic buildings to creative media port with the representative architecture for new work environments. Dusseldorf is also regarded as fashion and trade fair city. Events such as the Largest Fair on the Rhine, the Japan Day, the Jazz Rally, the Christmas markets or the carnival, attract many international visitors.
