About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great Mountain Cabin!

 • 5 of 5

Ideal size for four adults. Great location to Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge. Would definitely stay in this area again. Wish there was a fire pit.

Cute little big place

 • 5 of 5

This home is way bigger than it looks from the outside. We are a family of three and had plenty of room for us and all our ski gear with one bedroom and a couple sleeping areas left over. I do reccomend taking the stairs very carefully because they are narrow and do not have rails, but they are part of the charm of the cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute cozy cabin with loft

 • 5 of 5

Good for a family with middle gradeschool or older kids. The twin beds are in the loft, with a steep ladder.

Could sleep 4 in the loft. Great location, a couple blocks from downtown.

Great location at Gov Camp

 • 5 of 5

Short walk to downtown about 3 blocks. Comfortable bed. Fluffy towels.

Loft was great for our 11 and 12 year old boys. It is a loft, a ladder to get up. Would not be a good choice for young children or adults with knee problems.

2 bathrooms.

We would stay here again.

Gretel Cabin

 • 5 of 5

Perfect little cabin. It was very cozy and clean. Walking distance to the little town.

Lots of restaurants. Mt Hood Brewery is our favorite.

Cozy and clean!

 • 5 of 5

This is a rustic 3 level "cabin." It has all that's needed for a warm and comfortable stay at a reasonable price.
