Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday home in Westlake - Juliet's Balcony

House, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Time for a trip to Seattle? You’ll love staying in this wonderful pet-friendly condo right in the middle of it all, with gorgeous views of the city from the shared rooftop deck!

Located in the middle of the city in the Union SLU Building, a half-mile from the Seattle Center and a third of a mile from Lake Union, your wonderful studio-style condo will put you just a short walk from many of the attractions that make Seattle so famous.

Spend time in the main living area, watching something on the flatscreen or chatting on the lavender pullout couch.

Pick up some groceries from the store and cook in your airy kitchen! The chef in the group will love the stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, and lovely wooden cabinets. At mealtime, there’s a rolling island in the middle of it all with two stools that can double as a place to eat and more counter space.

You can even eat outside on your own private patio! There are two chairs, so whether you want to enjoy your morning cup of coffee out here or whip up some sandwiches for lunch, you’ll have a great place to relax on sunny days.

This studio-style condo has one queen-size bed and one sofa bed with curtains separating them for a bit of privacy – perfect for up to four lucky guests! There’s one bathroom for everyone to use, and even a private washer/dryer tucked behind a closet so you can keep your things nice and clean.

Don’t leave the dog at home! For an additional nightly pet fee, you can bring him (there is a 50-pound maximum and some breed restrictions) along for the ride. Bring your laptop along too! There’s free WiFi throughout the condo.

Enjoy the fantastic community amenities in the Union SLU building, from a game room to a fitness center. There's also parking for compact vehicles and bikes. You’ll also enjoy a couple of gas grills and plenty of outdoor seating up on the rooftop deck, perfect for those sunny day barbecues.

From your wonderful location, you’ll be an easy walk away from Seattle attractions, whether that be the Space Needle or the MOHAI museum on Lake Union. Wherever you choose to explore, this Seattle condo is the perfect home base.

Ready for a stunning adventure in the Pacific Northwest? Book your stay in lovely Seattle today!

About Vacasa, WA - Seattle

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Never staying in a hotel again.

 • 5 of 5

Incredibly comfortable space with the comforts of home! Super easy to walk to the main attractions and if you're feeling adventurous up to Queen Anne. Overall a great experience — this made me never want to stay in a standard old hotel room ever again.

Great Place to stay and experience Seattle. Much better than staying in a hotel - liked having a kitchen, washer/dryer, good tv choices, gym and close to good restaurants.

My Seattle Review

 • 2 of 5

Ground level apartment with little to no fresh air/outdoor space. Confusing parking situation with the worst spot in the garage. Broken couch and uncomfortable pillows. Signs threatening additional fees meet you as you walk in. The location was fine. In retrospect, I would have spent up to 20% more to get something better.

Owner's Response: We apologize that parking is not better situated for this apartment; the parking spots are assigned by building management and are for compact cars. We post the fine reminders in the home so that guests are not taken by surprise if they forget to leave their access cards or garage openers at the home after their stay. The couch is not broken, there is a shared patio, and there are fans in the home to help with air flow. Thank you.

Perfect Unit!

 • 5 of 5

This place was cozy, bright and clean. It had everything I needed. Felt like a little home away from home; and even though it was so close to busy streets, this unit was very quiet and private. I walked into downtown no problem (approx. 30 minutes). Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Juliet's Balcony

 • 5 of 5

My family and I had a lovely time in this property. The Vacasa team was easy to access and very pleasant. The location is centralized within walking distance to Seattle center, and supermarkets. Vacasa does a good job. The location is great, and customer service was polite and receptive. We were very comfortable, and have already recommended it to friends in Seattle who have visitors coming in October.

Cute Apartment

 • 4 of 5

I thought this place was cute. I've never known a VRBO to be an actual apartment like this one. Usually you expect a condo or house, so an apartment was a bit of an adjustment, but it had cute decor, it was pretty clean, the bed was comfy. For one night, this was a tad bit cheaper than a hotel so it worked for us, however the trade off, as mentioned before, is the no air conditioning. It wouldn't have been too bad if they provided a decent working fan... I think a functioning standing fan next to the bed that rotated would improve this listing tremendously. We had one box fan on the floor that didn't stay still and fell over all night.

The instructions to get there and into the unit were super helpful, no issues. There was some confusion with the check in time- the first VRBO posting said 2pm and then the email from Vacasa said 3pm.... So we couldn't get in until 3... But, not a big deal.

We liked the location, we enjoy walking, so we actually walked all the way down to the market and back... Probably a 35 minute walk each way. There is a really great restaurant pretty close to the unit called Citizen... Really delicious breakfast, highly recommend!

Overall- lodging in Seattle is expensive whatever way you go, this worked for a night for us!
