Could not have asked for better place to stay!!!! Absolutely stunning!

My grown children, one grandchild, and I stayed at the Weeden House while in town for a wedding. It was a perfect place for everyone to be together and yet have their own space. The bedrooms are spacious and all have TVs. The kitchen is a cook's dream and has everything needed to make family meals, including paper towels, linens, and trash bags. Between the dining room, the countertop, and the kitchen island, there was plenty of space for everyone to sit and enjoy their meal. In addition, there is outdoor dining space if preferred. The house is full of charm, yet has all the modern conveniences for a pleasant stay. The master suite is unbelievable! We even found a basket of toys that my grandchild enjoyed. The office has books and games if you should happen to run into a rainy day. We took several family pictures in the picturesque backyard that is very large and includes a large deck with seating, and two dinette sets in addition to other seating. The landscaping is gorgeous and very well kept. The two porches with overhead ceiling fans are just the place to sit and relax. If you forgot to bring something (other than clothes), it is probably waiting for you - even sunscreen for the beach. We used the laundry after a day at the beach and even the detergent pods were supplied. There are so many special touches that make the house such a welcoming place to stay. I have never seen such a clean, CLEAN establishment - there was not a speck of dust, dirt or cobweb to be seen. The off-street parking was definitely a plus! The trolley stop is right outside if you choose to use it - downtown is a short walk away. Our large group walked to everywhere in the historic area. The owner has supplied a binder with any and all information that you may want or need, in addition to a number to call if anything is needed - which you won't have to use because all needed information is supplied well ahead of time and the house is well maintained and has everything. I hope to visit the area again sometime and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beautiful home - wonderful memories were made, and it made a great trip even better!!

The house did not disappoint from the advertised pictures. It's as beautiful as it seems in pictures

We were so fortunate to find this perfect house for our business retreat. 8 women who each loved the house and all it offered. We were so impressed by how clean it was and comfortable. The house layout was perfect for our entertaining ourselves and for working. The well appointed kitchen was just great for us. Beds were very comfortable and the location is outstanding ~ close to everything. I would rent this house again! Ryan (manager) was also a great help to me when making this decision, plus he is so knowledgeable about where to go and what to do in St. Augustine. Great trip!

10 OUT OF 10

  • 5 of 5

There were five of us in this three bedroom home staying for four nights. From the minute we walked through the door until we had to leave everything was perfect. Ryan met us at the house showing us around and giving us suggestions what to do and where to eat in St Augustine. But the house is amazingly gorgeous with beautiful furnishings. The kitchen is a chef's kitchen and stocked with the essentials. The outdoor area is large, beautiful and a perfect location for your morning coffee. The location of this beautiful home is within walking distance to downtown. There is a new restaurant around the corner from the Weeden House in a remodeled Victorian home - "Preserved" and the food was superb! We highly recommend the restaurant. Around the corner in the opposite direction is "The Ice House" which is a fun place for drinks and noshing.

We loved staying at the Weeden House and hope to return someday soon! Thank you Ryan for our fabulous stay in St. Augustine!

Absolutely Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

This high end home has all the upgrades. The pictures provided on the site were beautiful, however the small things you never expect were all there. High quality towels and linens. Paper products from tissues to toilet paper were all upgrades. Shampoos, soaps and laundry detergent were all provided. My family has stayed in many VRBO homes, but found this home to far exceed our expectations. The easy walk to the historic district was a plus and the distillery and ice bar were right around the corner. We have shared our experience with close friends and plan to stay again! Thank you Ryan for all your hospitality!

Stop searching for the perfect house.....this is it!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Weeden house! First, the owner was extremely nice, very responsive and easy to contact. The house was spotless when we got there and completely stocked with everything we needed. The towels and bed linens were very high quality, and there were 10 beach towels (plenty for our entire group). We were traveling with 4 couples and 1 child. Everyone felt like there was plenty of room because the home is so large and well laid out. There was ample room for all of us to sit together in the family room and at the dinning room table. We cooked dinner here every night and the large kitchen and large pantry were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was completely stocked with high quality cook ware and dishes. We all really enjoyed sitting on the back patio at night and watching the trolly tour drive by from the front porch during the day. The location is perfect too. Those with us who like to exercise on vacation (my brother and sister....not me) enjoyed running through the historic downtown and to the Bridge of Lions. We all walked down to the marina and to the St. Augustine Distillery to take the free tour. The beach was only a short 10 minute drive from the house as well. My whole family loved the historic charm of the house like the stained glass windows, and also the modern decor and furnishings that were in every room. My son loved running around in the fenced in patio area and also playing dominos in the library/game room. The master bedroom and bath are huge and beautiful! My son LOVED sleeping in his own bed up on the 3rd floor. He wanted to stay up there and play. We all had an incredible time and we agreed that we would like to return to this house again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing this beautiful and amazing house with us!

Location

Most attractions are within a short walking distance from the house. If you dont want to walk, you can take a pedicab, taxi, or horse drawn carriage. You can also enjoy a trolley tour of downtown, there are even trolleys to the beaches.
