About the property

Spacious, Comfortable Townhome with Vaulted Ceilings and Lots of Natural Light

Beautiful three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse with a private hot tub and a very well-appointed kitchen. Walk to all the restaurants, shopping, bars, in-town grocery store and to the Peak 9 lifts (Quicksilver and Beaver Run). All mattresses and box springs are new. Bedrooms one and two both have queen size beds and bedroom three has two twin size beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom much like a suite.

The kitchen was recently remodeled with Bosch appliances and granite countertops. We love to cook so we have made sure the kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities necessary for making that great vacation meal after a long day of skiing or riding the fresh powder of Breckenridge. All the pots, pans, knives and silverware were upgraded recently and we constantly monitor these and replace/update as needed. The cleaning company leaves any non-perishable items in the kitchen for the next guest's use so you should typically find an arrange of spices, condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc), olive oil, coffee and filters, assorted teas and sugar upon your arrival. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee what will be there on any given arrival.

Enjoy the privacy of your own private hot tub on the balcony that seats six and looks out over undeveloped land adjacent to the Upper Village Pool, which you also have access to. This unit also comes equipped with free WI-FI and 140 channels of cable + HBO in the living room and the master bedroom. Download the free SONOS app to your smartphone or mobile device and control the surround-sound system including your own music (all music on your iphone or Android device as well as Pandora, Spotify, Rhapsody, Apple Music, etc.) and/or the television in the Living Room.

There are children's toboggans in the garage for your use and Carter Park (walking distance) on the east side of town is primarily used for sledding in the winter. There are also noodles and assorted balls to take to the Upper Village Pool, conveniently located directly behind this unit. There are also two yoga mats and a foam roller to ease those sore muscles after a day on the slopes. Or sign up for a yoga class at Blue Sage Spa on Main Street and take the yoga mats there and save yourself the rental fee.

We respectfully request that you treat our beautiful home as you would your own. Our property is a non-smoking, no shoe, non-party atmosphere and you will be required to sign and respect our very detailed lease. Unfortunately, based on local covenants, we cannot allow weddings, birthday parties or other events where more than the six guests would be on-site. If this seems too restrictive for your Breckenridge vacation, PLEASE do not rent our home.

We currently live and work in Chicago, Illinois but spend as much time in Breckenridge and Summit County as possible. We love being in the mountains and enjoying the spectacular mountain surroundings provided by this beautiful location. Whether it is hiking and biking in the summer or cruising fresh powder in the winter, Summit County always provides a wonderfully relaxing adventure.

Why Matt McDaniel chose Breckenridge Area

We originally visited Breckenridge for the skiing but once we came back in the summer, we started visiting four or five times a year. At that point, we wanted a place that offered the conveniences of walking to town and the slopes. We just knew that One Breckenridge Place was it as soon as we saw it.

What makes this townhome unique

Once you arrive at One Breckenridge Place, there is scarcely a need to use your vehicle until your departure date. The Quicksilver lift is about 100 yards straight south of our front door and Main Street Breckenridge is about the same distance due east. The Beaver Run lift is approximately 300 yards southwest of our front door and a bit uphill, but still a very easy walk.

I love it

The townhouse was really nice, with the amenities of a very good quality home. The only issues were the cleaning company put damp sheets on one bed. and they are not real diligent in cleaning the unit, as I found dried up apple on the floor. I would recommend that the cleaning crew be more detail oriented. This unit was near town and you could walk to restaurants and shopping.

They were very apologetic and said they would be more careful. We are also having the clothes dryer inspected and possibly replacing it if necessary because we have noticed that it takes a long time to dry clothes. The cleaning company was rushed to clean the sheets in time for your check in and the dryer's inefficiency caused the damp sheets. Thanks again

Beautiful Home and Great Location

This was a beautiful home that had all of the amenities needed to feel as if you never left home. Plenty of cookware and everything needed to cook when you didn't want to go out to eat. When you do want to go out, you are just a few short blocks to a multitude of dining options and other shops and stores. The swimming pool was also very nice with three different hot tubs to choose from not counting the one on the back deck, that is outstanding. Highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Breckenridge to choose this spot.

Excellent location and superb furnishings.

This is a lovely condo. Kitchen is fully furnished. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The three bathrooms have amenities better than most 5 star hotels or resorts. We were a few blocks from the slopes and only 2 blocks from Main Street restaurants and shopping. Heated swimming pool was just next door. Be sure to check drawers and closets for games and coloring activities for kids. Very quiet and well maintained. Thank you for a memorable vacation. FYI: City of Breckenridge charges $0.10 for shopping bags so when you go to the grocery store or downtown, bring your own bags. I know 10 cents isn't a big deal considering how pricey things are in this beautiful touristy town, it's just the principle of it.

We do understand what you mean about the bag tax that the Town of Breckenridge has implemented, but hopefully you found the cloth shopping bags with our City Market frequent shopper cards attached in the front closet. All that I expected

Matt and Sherry's place was wonderful. Walking distance from mostly everything as well as a beautiful place with all the great details including a kitchen , Surroundsound, hot tub we thoroughly enjoyed and plenty a room for a family of five.

Beautiful home and location

Our family of five adults, an 8-year-old, and a 7-month-old baby enjoyed the house immensely. It is a beautiful home, very clean, and so convenient to downtown. Matt was so responsive to our needs. The hot-tub on the deck was an added bonus. I hope that we can stay in it again someday!

Lovely home, close to the slopes and downtown!

This was the perfect home for our annual ski vacation. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was set-up with great cookware, sharp knives and a wonderful selection of spices. The short walk to the lift every morning was convenient and a quick walk downtown made the location perfectly suitable. Oh and the hot tub on the deck was the perfect warm up after a full day on the slope. We are already planning another trip and look forward to making this a home away from home.
