About Vacasa, WA - North Central Cascades Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Beautiful home, no hot water

  • 2 of 5

Like past reviews had mentioned, there’s a serious problem with the hot water in this house. The hot water works fine in the sinks, but there was no hot water in any showers. We tried alternating shower times, even waiting hours before touching the hot water, still nothing. The WiFi is really slow and the dish network never worked.

The house itself is beautiful. Huge kitchen and living room area for entertaining. I’d come back IF they fixed the hot water problem. The bedrooms were nice and spacious and there’s plenty of room for lots of people. We ended up using the upstairs grill rather than the built in by the pool. We had a big group over for a bbq and was able to comfortably fit everyone inside. It’s about 15 minutes from a Walmart and restaurants which was also great!

Please fix the hot water. Our entire group was stuck with freezing showers for 4 days straight. You also need a stronger WiFi connection and some work done on dish network’s connection.

Fix heating and hot water

  • 3 of 5

The house was great very roomy and nice. Our only concern was heating and hot water. If they fix these two things, we would like to stay again.

Owner's Response: We apologize if hot water was in short supply for this reservation. The home has a large water heater, but if every guest attempts showering one after the other it will struggle to provide enough in that period. Thanks!

Great house

  • 4 of 5

This house was very spacious and clean. I'd recommend you taking extra towels and your own shampoo since they give you a small quantity. Close to wine tasting and great view.

It was a great house and location. Would definitely come back..

  • 4 of 5

The house was beautiful and accommodating. Love that it was on the river. The pool was great. A few cons though was the amount of fruit flies. They were everywhere. Other than that though the house was great.

Nice property big enough for large group.

  • 3 of 5

My friends and I, along with our kids, recently stayed here. We love that it was a big house with 6 bedrooms and 1 extra with a sofa bed. To say the least, it was big enough to accomodate us all (10 adults, 5 kids and 2 babies) with a lot of extra room. If permitted, you can probably fit one more family. Also love that no pets allowed. The house smells clean when we walked in. But, while we love our stay because it has the pool and it was 15 minutes away from downtown Chelan and the Slidewaters, there were also a lot of things we didn't like. The pool was dirty. It has a lot of night bugs floating. The owner should invest in a pool cover. We also found a couple of beer caps at the bottom of the pool. Probably from the previous guests. Some towels that was folded in the laundry closet has stains. While it probably was clean, they should throw away towels with stains. The light in the upper floor master bedroom closet inside the bathroom wasn't working. One of the lights in the sink also was not working. The TV in the master bedroom was also not working. The bed comforters and linens doesn't smell like they washed it from a previous use the night before. It just doesn't smell newly washed if they did the laundry before check in. Outside, the jacuzzi tub also wasn't working. The water wasn't heating up so we didn't get to enjoy that one. The firepit they say they have in the backyard was covered with plants. (How will you use it?) Overall, the owner should probably be better at maintaining the house and the housekeeper should do a better job at cleaning the ENTIRE house everytime before the guests arrives. Not expecting much, but with how much they charge for a night stay, wouldn't you want a cleaner house? If they do and fix all the wrongs and all the need fixing, it would be 5 stars.

Nice big house but need better maintenance and housekeeping

  • 3 of 5

My friends and I, along with our kids, recently stayed here for a couple of days. We like that the house was big enough to accommodate a large group such as ours and that it was only 15 minutes away from Slidewaters and Chelan area. We also like that it has a private pool and the neighborhood was quiet. However, there were some maintenance and housekeeping issue we think they could have done better. We found that the jacuzzi tub wasn't working so we couldn't enjoy that. (The water wasn't heating up). The upper master bedroom's closet light wasn't working and one of the lights above the sink was also out. (Minor but they can easily replace them if they check). The pool should have a cover to keep the bugs off from the night before. (A LOT of night bugs). The plant that is covering the firepit should be trimmed so it can be use. (It was actually useless). Some towels folded in the closet inside the laundry room has stains. (It seems clean but it has stains. I think they should replace them with new ones). We also found some beer caps at the bottom of pool. It can hurt someone if they step on it. They should do a better job at cleaning the pool. The comforters and pillows in some rooms also doesn't smell fresh like it was just washed a few hours ago. If they clean as soon as a guest check out at 11a and before another guest checks in at 4p, the bed linens and such should smell like it just came from laundry, right? Overall, just the maintenance and housekeeping should do a better job next time. The house should be spotless it they rent it out for $800 a night. If they do a better job cleaning and maintaining the place, it would've been 5 stars.
