Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Nice two bedroom condo fully equipped with fireplace and view of the lake. Only drawback was the 12 digit code that had to be entered without pauses to access the elevator, pool, or parking.
Nice place to stay. Roomy condos with a lot of amenities. I would've given it 5 stars if there wasn't so much cleaning required on the guests part on top of the large cleaning fee: load and run dishwasher, strip beds, put towels in tubs, take garbage out.
We stayed at this location the dates of August 1-8, 2016. Immediately upon arrival we noticed an issue with the water temperature and pressure in our unit and called Vacasa. When speaking with a representative we were told that they were unaware of the issue and would contact the unit manager. After researching the issue, Vacasa called us back to inform us that the entire Resort was without hot water and that they were working on fixing the problem and that it would be fixed by the evening of August 1. We decided to otherwise occupy ourselves for a few hours with the intention to returning to the unit to shower before our evening plans. Upon return, the issue was still unresolved and we called a second time and were told that it would be fixed by the next morning at noon, leaving us without water for a second day of our stay. The water was not fixed by noon on August 2, so we called again and were told that it would be fixed by 4 pm. It was fixed by 4 pm August 2. After talking to a number of other guests we discovered that the issue had been ongoing prior to our check in and arrival on August 1.
We feel that we should have been notified of the issue prior to checking in and given the option of relocating to another property that had water available to their guests (we were informed that they have over 3,000 properties). We also feel we should have been updated on the progress of the repair. It should not be up to the guest to have to call in multiple times when the issue was known to both the resort manager and Vacasa. We had to go two days without hot water and showers which negatively impacted our stay. We had to change dinner plans because we could not go out without a shower after spending the day on the lake.
Secondly, our check out was scheduled on August 8, but a maid entered our room to clean on August 6th thinking we had checked out. We understand that miscommunication can take place, but a better system needs to be in place to avoid this happening in the future. Had we not been in the room when this took place all of our valuables would have been vulnerable to theft. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to others and will seek out other accommodations for our future stays at Lake Chelan.
This was a great condo in a great spot and everything was very nice about it except we wish that the A/C had worked better -- it was set up so that you couldn't go below 70 and it didn't reach the back bedroom very well so we were hot trying to sleep. But everything else was great!
