About Vacasa, WA - North Central Cascades

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

golfin' gamble sands

 • 4 of 5

Nice house, several of us stayed there to play golf in the Chelan area for a few days.

Here's a few items for your consideration.

- this place has a lot of rules (probably necessary/ok). It's just you don't get to see all of them until you've committed to rent.

- The house was clean and ready to use.

-everything (housewares) in the house is marginally sufficient: towels, pots/pans, seating (just a couch in living room....any more than three and you are sitting on dining room chair).

-the patio furniture was missing seat back cushions.... kind of weird, (really bothered one of the older gentlemen in our group).

-BBQ (Weber Spirit 2 burner) didn't get very hot. Max about 400..... but that's full on direct heat.

- river access: it is high bank (like 100').....there is a 'trail' down to the water..... but it's steep and a hoof (up).

- Lots of fees...... don't trust the rates (like doing math/per night) for your final bill will be much higher. (we were here in Sept/"not high season" Th,F,S=$({figure deleted due to review policy}/night). The following will add several hundreds to your bill: booking fee, cleaning fee, hot tub fee, service fee, oh and tax!!!!!

-Neighbors are really close, there's no backyard privacy (hot tub etc.)

Overall, nice house, would stay there again, for location more than anything. The fees are kind of the only real negative that might keep me from re renting this place. As far as location, 1/2 hr. to gamble sands, 20 minutes to bear mt. (10 minutes to Chelan proper) etc.

Lovely with great view!

 • 4 of 5

We loved the house and the spaces for our time there. We did a family wedding near Chelan and we had a great time with various family members staying at the house and using it to prepare food for the wedding. Very clean and lots of space. Nice to have the four bedrooms and three baths. Hot tub was a nice bonus and appreciate the access to washer and dryer.

Would recommend to anyone. Close to Chelan, but beautiful being on the river. Great star gazing.

Recommend kitchen be stocked with more cooking tools. For 8 - 10 people not a lot of dishes or silverware, no can opener or bottle opener, those must go missing. Was frustrating to not have more then a couple hand towels. Would recommend bring extra towels and kitchen supplies for larger group if housing more then 5 or 6. But that was the only inconveniences.

Best VRBO

This place is not only a great and relaxing home, it is also located in a very good spot. This is by far a memorable location. Very clean and with complete amenities. I will definitely shoot for this home again. Hey guys also very close to Walmart and downtown Chelan.

Shade needed

 • 4 of 5

The property is beautiful, but I can't envision wanting to stay here in the intense summer months. The temperature was only in the 80's during our visit, and the West facing back yard had no shade in the heat of the day making it un-usable.

River float

 • 5 of 5

This place was exactly what we needed. The only recommendation that I have is for those who want to access the river. The trail was partially groomed as we're probably here for the beginning of the season, easy to walk though for a larger kid or adult. BRING WATER SHOES! Flip flops will not cut it! Also, it was quite windy so I recommend rope to the up any tubes or floaties if you plan on doing this. Either way, this was the perfect little get away:-)
