About Darryl Glass

Our family of four (2 daughters) all are born and raised in the neighboring state of Virginia are beach lovers and have been searching for the perfect location for our dream beach house since 2009 and we found it! We love to kayak and deep sea fish as well as relax on a wide beach and the west end of Oak Island is where we found it.

This house is so nice. Everything is new and clean. Prime location for surf & sound!

Great location at end of road.....easy access to beach or sound. All appliances are new and fancy. Awesome book/toy area for kids. TVs in every room......huge one in main living area. Very open & bright with pretty views from every window. Porches have nice chairs for relaxing and locking gates for keeping kids safe. Awesome outdoor shower!!!!

Beautiful Home with ocean and back Bay views!

Double Trouble is a very nice and clean 4 bedroom home that we enjoyed very much at the end of Oak Island. There is a front covered deck along with an open rear deck that has nice views of the ocean and Bay. Regardless of the time of day you could always find shade, a nice breezes coming through the property. We have a dog and really appreciated the back fenced yard and given the gate system we could let the dog out on the deck and he could work his way down to the back fenced in yard without constant supervision.

The end of the island is very Nice and we enjoyed several beautiful sunsets. The dunes and grasses are well preserved between the beach and a limited single family housing The beach wraps around this end of the island to the bay and made for many enjoyable walks

There also was a nice restaurant/bar and marina a few blocks away that makes for a convenient lunch and dinners.

We are already making plans for our return next year.

Top Notch

We totally enjoyed our 4-day stay at Double Trouble. The house was just as advertised - very clean, well-appointed, and with nice views of the ocean and sound. The layout was very comfortable for 6 adults and three children. The open floor plan provided plenty of room for family meals together and the decks were great for sitting outside and enjoying the evening breezes. It is a short walk to beach access at the Point. Darryl was easy to deal with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property - we hope to be back soon.

Clean, comfortable, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Access to the beach for both fishing and swimming was very convenient. This suited our family of 4 adults and 3 grandchildren. Next time we need to rent a house on the island again this will be our first choice.

Oak Island ends here at the West End private homes in the premier Kings Lynn area almost at the end of the island.What views! Beach in the front and sound in the back. The islands best views and shoreline that wraps around to the sound. Intercoastal waterway access.

Our private cleaners have beds mae upon arrival.
