From this Oceanside vacation rental you'll have spectacular 180-degree, unobstructed ocean views all the way from from Cape Lookout to Netarts Bay and a private hot tub! You'll be completely surrounded by the sounds and motion of the surf, complete with a stunning vista of the iconic Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge. And inside this adorable cottage you will find all that you need to have a one-of-a-kind Oregon Coast getaway - luxury linens, handmade soaps, WiFi, a cozy gas fireplace, and an updated kitchen. And this Blue Sea Oceanfront Cottage is even dog-friendly!

This beach cottage is nestled right in the charming destination village of Oceanside, where you can enjoy a long stretch of sandy beach, a handful of popular eateries, nearby scenic drives, and local attractions like Cape Meares Lighthouse and Netarts Bay. Whether you stick to hanging out and socializing on the deck or spend your time hiking the nearby trails, this will truly be a wonderful retreat.

Once inside, you'll be delighted by the spacious and open living room and its vaulted ceilings and large windows overlooking the beach and ocean. After a walk on the beach with the dogs, come back and spend some quality time warming up in front of the gas fireplace. Right from this great room or the outdoor deck, you may even spot some migrating whales in spring or winter. Bring your swimsuits for a soak in the hot tub. And when it's time for a meal, you'll have all the appliances you need in the updated kitchen. This main level also has a bedroom with a queen bed - you'll wake up to gorgeous ocean views here!

Up the spiral staircase, there's a loft with a large flat screen TV, Roku streaming, a VCR, and a DVD player. Spend evenings up here passing around a bowl of popcorn and watching a movie - there's also a futon in the loft for extra sleeping options. In addition, the second bedroom (also with a queen bed) is upstairs as well, allowing for up to six guests to stay quite comfortably at this special Oceanside getaway. Other amenities include board games, toys, and kites for the kids, WiFi, and a washer and dryer. There is no cell service at this home but there is a land line for your convenience

This Oceanside beach cottage is ideal for a family getaway or couples traveling together with kids. It could even be the perfect location for a romantic, oceanfront weekend for two! From the house, beach access just down a sandy path right to the ocean, or make a short three block walk to town, and get on the beach through a public park. You can start your morning with a latte and pastry at Brewin' in the Wind or sit down for heartier breakfast fare at local favorite, Roseanna's Cafe. It's just a 15 minute drive to the larger town of Tillamook for more shopping and dining options, or head south for 40 minutes for gallery browsing and pints of Kiwanda Cream Ale at the Pelican Pub & Brewery in Pacific City.

For an unforgettable stay at the Oregon Coast, book this Oceanside vacation cottage and enjoy amazing ocean views right from the living room and an ideal location less than three blocks right to the center of this small, picturesque beach town.

*Oceanside has spotty phone service - cell phones are best used in the town of Netarts, just three miles away*

About Vacasa of Oregon Coast

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Killer view

 • 5 of 5

This cottage was great. Just the perfect size and an unbeatable view. Easy beach access in both directions, and a hot tub if you don't feel like getting sandy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Incredible view, uncomfortable furniture

 • 2 of 5

The view, the hot tub, kitchen and updated bathroom with heated floor were all amazing. The furniture in the living room was incredibly uncomfortable to sit in; couch and chairs should be replaced. Per previous reviews, screen door had a huge hole in it, 2nd bathroom fan was extremely noisy, and washer wasn't working correctly. I asked if these items would be repaired prior to our arrival & was assured they would be taken care of but upon arrival nothing had been fixed or addressed. The view is spectacular and beach access is quick and easy. If you bring your own chairs for the living room and overlook the cobwebs hanging from the non-working ceiling fan as well as the dust bunnies in the corners, it could be a nice place. The kitchen was well equipped and the one updated bathroom was very nice. Beds were ok but if you have back or neck issues may want to bring your own mattress cover for the master bed (mattress needs to be replaced). It's a shame the furniture is so bad because otherwise this place could get consistent 5 stars.

Amazing Experience From Start To Finish

 • 4 of 5

Absolutely loved the Blue Sea Cottage. It was dainty and cute, well-kept and cleaned. Some old-fashioned antiques, but it works great with the in-home experience. The Hot Tub worked great and was well-heated. Everything I needed from dish soap, to shampoo & conditioner was there. You can see breath-taking upfront views of the ocean no problem. To make it even more amazing, you MUST relax in the hot tub at sunset because the colors of the sky and ocean mixed together was memorizing. The walk to the beach was just down the road, and not a problem to walk unless you're used to sidewalks (and prefer them). But the town is small enough that you really don't have to worry about walking next to the street, as it barely got any traffic (assuming that you're staying midweek in shoulder season). We spend every morning on the beach with our two dogs, and those waves just take you away. From surfers to kayakers, to exploring the beach with a hidden tunnel to the other side of the beach, there's a lot to do in this small down. The two downsides: 1) The Dryer did not work well. It kept turning off after 10 mins when the clothes were still very damp.. so you had to make sure you checked up on it periodically in case it needed to be turned on again. 2) Some random guy drove over to the property asking strange questions like 'Are you staying here?', 'When are you leaving/how long are you staying here?'. He never said who he was, but found it really off and slightly rude that he came over expecting us to answer questions from a stranger. If this was the owner, i'm pretty sure owner's aren't allowed to be visiting their property while guests are staying at it, especially if there weren't any issues/maintenance issues.
