Beautifully renovated (2016) split-level penthouse condo offering three bedrooms and three bathrooms with gorgeous views of Avalon Harbor and the picturesque Catalina hillsides. The open-plan main floor gives you plenty of room to stretch out. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for 6 & additional 4 at breakfast bar, and Smart TVs with cable, Netflix, YouTube & Hulu apps, and full internet access. Enjoy dinner and drinks from one of two balconies while looking out over beautiful Avalon. The three large bedrooms - including TWO MASTER SUITES - upstairs make it a perfect vacation home for two families to share, but can easily accommodate more!

About Karin Erickson

We grew up in the frozen tundra of Minnesota and relocated to southern California for our careers. Over the years, we've spent time on Catalina and have always enjoyed the low-key, relaxing life-style. To us, Catalina has a Mediterranean flair, similar to Capri, Italy, with it's charming restaurants and shops, beautiful little harbor and undulating hillsides. We are fortunate to own a piece of paradise and want to share it with others!

Lovely place to stay - amazing view, nice unit, and convenient location

This was a very, very nice rental - we could not have found a place or location we liked better and the view was amazing. We were three couples and two generations and I think the young couples liked it just as much as we did...this is my 5th time renting a home through VRBO and every one in every location has been great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Catalina Apartment

This three bedroom apartment exceeded our expectations for our sibling reunion on Catalina Island. There was plenty of room for our visit, a well equipped kitchen, and a great balcony with a beautiful ocean view. Karin responded quickly with any questions that we had. The swimming pool, hot tub, and grounds were well maintained. It was only a short walk to the shopping/restaurant district and ocean. My only regret is that we didn't book more days here!

Tremendous Property

Our 13 yr old grandson had never been to Catalina so my wife & I decided to take our son/daughter in law, grandson, granddaughter & her girlfriend to Catalina for 4 nights, 8/25-29/2017. Because there were 9 of us I decided to rent a condo through VRBO & found this property. I am so glad I did. The property owner, Karin Erickson, is a tremendous person to work with. She was so accommodating. The condo is decorated beautifully. It is equipped with everything you need, from complete kitchen utensils to pool toys. It has two balconies & both offer great views of Avalon & the harbor. It is also in a great location, out of the hussle & bussel of Avalon but only an easy 10 min walk to everything. If I am ever in need of a condo again in Catalina I will definitely rebook this property.

Bahia Vista Condominiums

Unit C64 was perfect for our family. It was an easy walk from the ferry, great decks with BBQ and views of the city. It was clean, quiet and updated with wood floors & appliances, freshly painted, large rooms, washer/dryer, beach equipment. Karin was always friendly & responsive with confirmations and to our questions. Chela, in housekeeping, was very nice and allowed us to check in early to drop the bags. We were so glad to have a pool too for the kids.

Only a couple of comments. We were unable to find the bikes. And wish there were recycling receptors for the unit and the complex. We noticed the private homes had recycle bins so I know the island does this.

All in all this was a total WOW experience for our family. Thank you for sharing your home.

We are concerned, as the bikes should be locked in the bike rack on the garage side of the building, as described & depicted in our Arrival Information. Hopefully, you just overlooked them and they are still securely locked in the bike rack! Thanks again for trusting us with your Avalon stay!

Great multi-family condo

We had a lovely stay during the July 4th week. The condo is very spacious and well appointed and Karin was very communicative if we had any questions during our stay. The bedrooms are huge and quite comfortable. To get into town it is a 5-10 min walk. There is an elevator to get up to the unit but keep in mind if you are traveling with someone with physical limitations, there are many stairs not only to get to the elevator, but up to and inside the unit as well.
