Our 1450 square foot town home in the "Embarcadero" community of Barrio de Tubac has been completely refurnished and redecorated in 2015. The gated patio has a “infrared" gas grill and umbrella-covered outdoor dining table which seats four. The well-appointed living room features a leather love seat and matching chair, rustic bar cabinet, concealed entertainment center with flat screen Smart TV, and Kiva-style gas log fireplace. The six-seat dining area separates the living room and the fully stocked, state-of-the-art, gas range kitchen. A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located off the kitchen.
The master suites on each floor have beautifully tiled soaking tub bathrooms, spacious walk-in closets and feature new queen bedroom sets with hygienic mattress protectors for your comfort and peace of mind.
The third "bedroom" on the main floor has been converted into a relaxing den with two inviting leather recliners, a roomy writing desk, and wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV (Internet connected for audio and video streaming or viewing local cable service.)
You and your guests will also enjoy the convenience of the half-bath in the main hallway.
The upstairs skydeck provides table seating for two and affords views of the Tumacacori and San Cayetano Mountains, unbeatable Arizona sunsets, and dark-sky star gazing; a delightful place to enjoy your complimentary bottle of wine on your first evening here.
We retired in NE Rio Rico in 2005 after 30-year teaching careers and built our dream home in the San Cayetano mountain foothills overlooking the Santa Cruz River valley and the village of Tubac.
David and Bernadette Clark purchased this townhome in 2105
Our Tubac town home is a perfect layover for us when socializing with friends in the Tubac area and will become our permanent residence sometime down the road.
I had the pleasure of staying at Dave and Bernadette's lovely townhouse recently. The place is wonderfully decorated, clean and had everything necessary to make my stay perfect. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good time during my stay. Tubac is a friendly city and the view of the mountains are spectacular. Maggie
We just can't say enough good things about this condo and the owners. the photos don't do this unit justice. It is spotless, and the owners have stocked it beyond our expectations. Both bedrooms were spacious with walk in closets and on suite bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine. The linens and towels were top quality. It was like staying at a 5 star resort. The complex was very quite and the pool was just the right temperature. We are dreaming of the day we can come back and enjoy again.
My husband and I have stayed in Tubac several times and this condo had the best accommodations and amenities. Very nicely furnished and decorated - beds very comfortable . The owners went out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. We really liked being near the pool/hot tub and close enough to walk to the shops as well. We love Tubac and will try to book this condo again.
Lovely, clean, quiet, spacious townhome. Luxurious furnishings, everything you would need in the high end kitchen, large walk in closets, plus a cozy fireplace for quiet evenings at home. Tubac is great for visiting art galleries and exploring southern Arizona.
Great townhome with beautiful furnishings and just across street from the heated pool and spa. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has all the amenities one would want. Tubac is a wonderful place to visit with all the art galleries and shops. Definitely would stay again.
We stayed in this lovely town home for a week the beginning of November 2015. It was FANTASTIC! The owners truly provided exceptional customer service. It was like staying in a 5 Star Resort. All furnishings were high end and everything was very close. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Southern Arizona. What a FANTASTIC vacation! We will be back!
Tubac and the surrounding area are rich in history and tradition. Visit the Tumacacori Mission, Tubac Presidio State Historic Park, or walk in the footsteps of Juan Bautista de Anza along the historic Anza Trail.
Your stay in our Embarcadero townhome includes keycard access to the resort-style heated pool and spa, and 24/7 access to the Barrio Recreation Fitness Center. The Tubac village and Plaza de Anza, with some 100 shops and galleries and a variety of eating venues are a modest walk (or very short drive) from the townhome. Just north of the village is the Tubac Golf Resort, with spectacular home sites, fine dining, a health and beauty spa, and, oh yes, a 27-hole golf course.
The city of Nogales to the south offers a glimpse of border life, an insight to the world of produce importation and a gateway (pedestrian recommended) to Nogales, Sonora for an afternoon of shopping, tequila buying and lunch - no pesos needed, but bring your passport!
