Embrace the spirit of Woodstock in our cozy home located just 3.5 miles from the Heart of Woodstock! An entertainers delight with a huge deck overlooking a pond and babbling brook, and a 6 person hot tub!
Enjoy your meals at our farmhouse table overlooking the pond on a crisp fall morning. Kitchen is equipped with all the tools you need for a great meal and there’s a grill on the deck if you’re in the mood for a BBQ!
The living area is complete with a wood burning fireplace for some Gool Ol’ Country Comfort and a flat screen TV and DVD player if you’re looking to veg out.
The Master Bedroom is located on the first floor, is outfitted with a King Size bed and looks out at a picture of trees and a sweet look-in’ barn.
Additional 2 Bedrooms are located upstairs and feature full size beds. Sunny Sitting area leads out onto a small balcony overlooking the pond. Bathroom upstairs has a shower/tub combo and Washer/Dryer for laundry.
The pond is nestled under a canopy of trees…fall foliage is amazing here. The chirping bullfrogs, occasional woodpecker, ducks and deer are some of the friends that visit our secluded property.
There is something for everyone in Woodstock. It is a very special place. The spirit if the 60’s is alive and well here…live music anyone? There is a multitude of shows to pick from!
Foodies? Just because we’re country doesn’t mean we don’t have good food! New York City quality and farm to table food and wine are everywhere here. I will supply a list of my favorites before you arrive!
Fishing, Tubing, Kayaking, Hiking, Biking, Golf, Fall Foliage, and Skiing are just some other great activities to enjoy here. Hunter and Belleayre Ski Mountains are a short car ride away.
We hope you love Woodstock and our house as much as we do!

Cindy Halliburton purchased this house in 2005
When Jesse and I went house-hunting in the catskills, he just wanted a house that was close enough to the ski mountains. We were not expecting the discover the magical town of Woodstock. It became such a special place to us that we married in the area in 2007!
The property is picturesque and quiet with a big front lawn and a duck pond in the back. The dogs enjoyed watching the ducks swimming by. There was plenty for them to sniff and a squirrel or two to chase even in the winter.
The house was perfect for our needs - we wanted to build a fire, cook, relax and watch movies/TV. Sara answered all of our questions quickly (we only had two - the cable was a bit temperamental and there were little groups of ladybugs trying to stay warm - wanted to make sure that was normal). There was plenty of wood for a roaring fire, the cooking tools were ample and the couches were comfy enough to fall asleep on. The hot tub was also lovely, though we honestly didn't use it much as the fireplace called out more.
We would definitely stay here again in any season!
We really loved the house, its location and personal approach to our needs!!! Hot tub and dining with a beautiful view was the best;-) Overall it is a perfect place for any getaway! Can't wait to come back to check it out in fall. I will definitely recommend this house👍🏻 ( don't even consider other houses😉)
We all loved this house. Location is prime. Woodstock, hiking and dining all very convenient. The house was comfortable. It had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the deck. The colors were in full bloom. We did not have time for jacuzzi, but it looked inviting. There were six adults and the house was plenty big enough. Owner was great to deal with. We will be back again.
We enjoyed the house overall, but were disappointed that there was no microwave and the Jacuzzi stopped working after 20 minutes. The cleanliness of the kitchen did not meet our expectations. The house was roomy, plenty of linens but difficult to find because the number of the mailbox was turned slightly away from the road.
we were a group of 6 adults plus a dog, all big fans of this house and how it feels isolated in the woods, and very private, but is so close to town. It is the best of both worlds. the weather was perfect over labor day weekend so we got nice cross breezes through the house with windows and doors open, and we lazed around on the deck reading books and sitting in the hot tub when we weren't eating giant family style meals. took walks around the property and on nearby roads (goat hill rd is very pretty), went to mill's creek swimming hole for some super cold water wading . . . it was a great time. The charcoal weber was big enough for us to cook multiple small fish (from woodstock meats) and corn on the cob at the same time, or a ton of burgers and buns all at once. Dishwasher is a little tricky to figure out because all the labels are rubbed off, but we googled the model number and eventually figured out how to run it. Didn't watch hardly any TV at all, only one night when the first UT v notre dame game was on and we had to root for TX. cable worked great and the couches are super comfy. We'd definitely stay again. I'd love to come up in the fall and be surrounded by all those trees - just missing an outdoor fire pit!
This renovated farmhouse was tastefully finished and very comfortable and clean. The house is set back quite far from the road, which made it feel more secluded and was perfect for our dog to run around in. There is a lovely pond out back as well. The house could use a screened in porch (bugs do multiply near the pond especially on humid days) and outdoor furniture as well. Otherwise, a very sweet place to stay near Woodstock. The owners were very responsive to the few minor issues that arose during our stay. The Garden Cafe had great vegetarian food served on a pretty patio. We had a wonderful dinner at Cucina. Swimming was a treat in the Big Deep nearby. Great hiking in the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve in nearby Saugerties.
We would recommend this house for a relaxing vacation place.
