If you’re looking to experience the best that southern California has to offer this is the spot. Situated on the waterfront in Long Beach, our charming home offers direct water access and all the amenities to make your next vacation perfect!
The house, in our family for over 50 years, is newly renovated inside and out. She was built in 1926 in the Spanish style. We retained many of the charming original details during renovation including teak floors, precision stucco and wrought iron work, archways, barrel vault ceilings and handmade terracotta roof tiles. The home is on 2 storeys, offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, heat and a/c, parking spot, w/d, high speed WiFi, and can comfortably sleep 6. There is ample entertaining space indoors and out.
The house is ideally located for swimming, sunbathing, and taking advantage of all the water activities that Long Beach have to offer. Feel like cruising around on the water? Duffy, stand up paddle board, and kayak rentals are steps away. Hungry after a long day of sunbathing and don’t feel like eating in? A limitless variety of dining options are within a 10-minute walk from Irish Pubs to BBQ to Pizza to Greek food, to some of So Cal’s best dining experiences.
If exploring further afield is your thing, Long Beach is perfectly situated for easy day trips to famous beach locales including Laguna, Newport, and Huntington down south, and Santa Monica and Malibu up north. If magic kingdoms are more your speed, Disneyland and Knots Berry Farm are 20 minutes away and Universal Studios is about an hour. If you prefer to adventure a bit closer to home, the Queen Mary and Aquarium of the Pacific are both located downtown Long Beach – ten minutes by car, or a leisurely and picturesque thirty-minute bike ride along the beach bike path.
Whether you want a waterfront adventure close to home, a total So Cal experience or a bit of both, let our home be your home base for your next vacation.
