Our home is centrally located in the charming hilltop neighborhood of Mt. Adams, just 3 short blocks from The Monastery Event Center. The two-bedroom apartment (one queen bed and one full bed) is the entire first floor of our well-tended two-family house. It is spacious and comfortably furnished. You can relax in the living room or outside in the courtyard. Amenities include wifi, cable tv, coffee maker, dishwasher, and hair dryer. Parking for one car is available. We are within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the Playhouse in the Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum, beautiful Eden Park, and the Krohn Conservatory. The apartment is less than a 1.5 mile walk to downtown Cincinnati, Fountain Square, the Reds and Bengals Stadiums, and the riverfront parks and restaurants. Music Hall, the shops, restaurants, theaters, and bars of historic Over-the-Rhine, Washington Park, and the Jack Casino are all within a 5-minute drive. The University of Cincinnati and Xavier University are within 4 miles, as are most of the area's many fine hospitals, including Children's Hospital Medical Center. We welcome families with children and have everything you need for your baby - pack and play, stroller, high chair, and baby bath seat.
***We are booked solid through the summer but we are accepting reservations for September and later dates.
We are native Cincinnatians who fulfilled our long-time dream of moving to Mt. Adams six years ago. We love living in this close-knit neighborhood with its beautiful views, nice selection of restaurant and bars, and close proximity to downtown and to the area's lovely urban neighborhoods. We enjoy introducing visitors to Mt. Adams and to all our City has to offer.
Safe, secure location with many amenities within walking distance from your door. Very clean and comfortable. Would schedule for our next stay in Cincinnati. Keep up the good work !
We loved staying in Laura and Mark's place. It was perfect for my husband and I with our adult daughter. The only downside is really no fault of the owners, but a reality of the area. Driving and parking on the right Mt Adams streets is a bit tricky. The owners do provide a space for renters though .
Two friends and I stayed for quick one night weekend getaway. Laura and Mark were a joy to work with. Very responsive to all communications and flexible with a last minute change in schedule. The home is lovely and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again.
Laura and her husband were amazing. The day we arrived, our three yr old was excited by the box of toys they left and the courtyard for playing. During our stay our baby got a bad ear infection and Laura was amazing and provided us with options on places to go. The apt was was cute and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you again!!
Mark and Laura are great! This is the second time we've stayed with them and we'll surely stay again when in the Cincinnati area. It's a short walk to the nightlife and to the monastery event center. I'd highly recommend this place!!
My daughter and I stayed at Mark and Laura's place while visiting family and we couldn't have been more pleased with everything. Mt Adams, a lovely little neighborhood up on the hill, is the perfect/convenient location for your trip to the tri-state area, and has the most beautiful view overlooking Cincinnati and Northern KY. The apartment is also just a few walking blocks to all the bars and restaurants in Mt Adams. The first thing that came to mind when I entered the home was how quaint and cozy it felt. They really make sure you have everything you need, very well appointed, even extra toiletries if you happen to forget something. Double plus is a Keurig with coffee pods to get your morning started! And everything was exceptionally CLEAN, down to the white linens on the beds. I've stayed in a few rentals and I have to say this was the cleanest I have experienced yet. The little hallway off the kitchen leads you to a den-like living room with a shelf full of interesting books and magazines and a very comfortable leather couch to curl up and read (if you have the time). It just felt very warm and homey. And weather permitting there is a lovely courtyard to hang out that is lit up with colorful string lights at night. So pretty! As far as the neighborhood, go to The Blind Lemon if you get a chance for a chill/enchanting evening of drinks and acoustic music. The historical Rookwood Restaurant is also is very good, and the place where American pottery first began-very cool. Mark and Laura are some of the nicest people you could care to meet as well. They let you know they are around if you need anything, but stay invisible otherwise. Thank you for such a lovely stay, and for generously accommodating all of our needs!
We are in the heart of Mt. Adams on a residential street but just two blocks from the quaint Mt . Adams business district. There are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. Mt. Adams offers fantastic views of the river valley, surrounding hills, and downtown. Downtown is just a few minutes away by car, bus, taxi or Uber and it is within walking distance, though you have to be prepared to tackle some hills on the way back. The city has so much to offer, including great restaurants and bars, live music, theater, art, beautiful parks, bike paths, numerous golf courses, and sporting events. Mt. Adams is a fun and unique neighborhood in the center of it all!
