About the property

Blue Ridge GA & Mtns Cabin- 3 Bedrooms/3 Baths, Game Room And Loft

Short walk down the hill to stunning Lake Blue Ridge.... this well maintained log sided cabin is located in the desirable Aska Adventure Area and within a convenient 7 minute drive to historic downtown Blue Ridge GA. This well appointed cabin has mountain views on top level and three levels of finished living space all nestled on 1.75 wooded acres on a private dead end road. This cabin offers a 6 person hot tub, outdoor fire pit, game room in basement including pool table and foosball table. Swimming and fishing are available within minutes of the cabin by either walking or driving. National Forest Service land is at the bottom of the foothill and it is used for swimming or fishing with little lake traffic. A public boat ramp is available as well. We had a 200 lb black bear in the yard in 2012 and we see deer, fox, turkey and rabbits all the time.

Blue Ridge, GA is 90 minutes north of Atlanta, 20 minutes from the GA, NC and TN (where they meet) borders with hiking in the mountains, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (70% national forest), the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway in downtown Blue Ridge, trout fishing, whitewater rafting, the Ocoee River Olympic whitewater area is 30 min north in the mountains, the new Harrah's Cherokee Valley Casino in Murphy, NC is 30 min away and the famous Mercier Orchards is 2.5 miles north of Blue Ridge.

Great cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great long weekend! We loved the pool table, hot tub, all the extras and being able to bring our pup. Close to downtown, enjoyed looking at all the stores. We had great lunches at Canterberry and Harvest on Main. Also enjoyed visiting Mercier Orchard. Very convenient location!

A Family Vacation to Remember

  • 5 of 5

My family rented Yeagle's Nest for just under a week recently to attend my daughter's wedding. We were overjoyed at the charm, warmth, and serenity this beautiful cabin home provided. Our grandson, and our adult sons had plenty to do to keep occupied in the lower deck complete with pool, and Foosball tables while my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub and gorgeous mountain views. Every evening we shared a large family campfire, in the pit provided. We were left a large supply of seasoned wood and starter logs. My wife loves to cook and found the kitchen completely stocked with pots/pans, even a griddle for morning hot cakes. Having onsite washer and dryer made our trip easier to keep up with the family's laundry needs. We had multiple family members, stay over the course of our time there, we found an endless supply of sheets, blankets, towels, and pillows were neatly tucked away in the many closets. Our grandson had an entire loft of available children's toys to play with. Many guests from the wedding who were also renting local cabins stopped by to enjoy the view and were amazed at how 'our' cabin far out-shined theirs. We are already planning another trip and will definitely be nesting with the Yeagles again! Thank You Lisa and James ......................................The Paton Family

Comfortable spacious cabin

  • 4 of 5

The layout of the cabin is comfortable for a family offering privacy for all. It is well arranged with anything you might need for a stay there. It was nice to arrive with everything ready for us!

Easy to deal with the owner with questions even while we were there. We never found a path to the lake. There are steep winding gravel roads to reach the cabin.

Overall, everyone who visited had a great time as well as the renter's stay solo.

Very Clean Well Appointed Cabin Near the Lake

  • 5 of 5

We loved this Cabin. Its 3/4 up a ridge near the lake in an area of other nice cabins. The neighbors were not too close in the desirable location. Town was just a short car trip where you can see Blue Ridge and find whatever you need. This house must be used by the family quite a bit as it was well appointed and outfitted. Great fire pit, porch and hot tub. The whole family was happy here!
