This comfortable one bedroom vacation rental is just a short 10 minute walk from the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mayan Riviera, Mexico! Our guest apartment includes: Full Size Bed - Full size Convertible Sleep Sofa - Bathroom w Shower - Full kitchen - Refrigerator - Microwave - Toaster Oven - Coffee Maker - Two Burner Stove - Silverware - Dishes - Satellite TV - Free WiFi - Hair Dryer - Iron. We are about a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Famous 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta. There you will find hundreds of restaurants. They serve everything from tacos or ceviche to French cuisine. The atmospheres range from sand-in-your-toes to high-end, fine dining, and you can spend as little or as much as you want. If you sit at one of the outdoor restaurants, you may be treated to live music by the strolling Mariachis. There are many excursions such as: Sky Dive Zip Line Parasail Fish Snorkel Scuba Dive Swim, Snorkel or Dive the Cenotes Ride a Horse on the Beach Tour the Jungle on an ATV Tour the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Coba or Chicken Itza? . Humble Hidden Gem

Our stay was lovely! This apartment is wonderfully located. A kilometre walk to the beach, a few blocks to the grocery store, and restaurants all around. The apartment itself was clean and very comfortable and Sergio was right there to help and provide us with anything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the little outdoor patio space watching the neighbourhood’s comings and goings. We managed to prepare and cook many of our meals in house and took advantage of the little tortilla a block down from us! Over all it was a trip to remember!

Great location!

The location of the property is ideal. Just a couple blocks from 5th avenue and the beach. Also just a couple blocks from the restaurants, grocery stores, and bus lines on Av. 30. We walked around quite a bit, day and night and never felt unsafe. You honestly can’t beat the location! The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. It is cozy but we never felt crowded. The kitchen has all of the essentials. There are two AC units so the apartment stays nice and cool. Communication with the managers is prompt and easy. They were a great help while we were there. We only stayed for a month but really enjoyed our time there.

Near everything but noisy

It was spacious, clean with good air conditioning but it was on a busy street that was noisy. The caretaker was very helpful, no complaints about him. We cooked but there was limited space for supplies. But we had good walks and walked down to 5th avenue where it is very touristy.

Awesome stay!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 6 weeks. (Jan.4-Feb.15, 2017) These accommodations were perfect for our stay. Our living area was large and comfortable. The patio was a bonus. We especially enjoyed living in this area since so many conveniences were close to us. We would love to go back one day! Thank you Penny for your help and quick responses. We are so glad we found your little gem!

Best option for the price!

I did not actually stay here myself, but I looked at the apartment with intent. The owner and manager are great! I would have stayed here without hesitation if the place I was already at did not offer me a better price. The location is perfect in my opinion (23yo male interested in culture). It's in the very safe local area where good food is cheap and you can learn Spanish fast. It has everything you need to hang out at home and cook your own food too. When you need a day at the beach or want to check out 5th Ave it's a 10 minute or so walk. 10 minutes of mostly local culture, not people trying to sell you things. The bed felt very comfortable. Balcony and 2 new ac units are a big plus too.

In 2005 I decided to buy my first property here. Although I still maintain a camp in Massachusetts, an apartment in Manhattan and an apartment and a boat in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I still come here as often as possible. In addition to the local Mexicans and Mayans, you will meet people from all over the world here. We have had guests from countries like Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Holland, South Africa, Israel and others, as well as Mexico, the US and Canada. Everybody who comes here falls in love with the place, and I am sure you will too.

I love this property because of its location. It gives you that real feel of Mexico with the comfort of a nice apartment. You can sit on the balcony and watch the busy streets of Mexico. When ready for beach just grab your belongings and head a few blocks East to the beautiful beach and spectacular turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean
