About Jeff

My wife and I are long-time Albuquerque residents and know the area well. We truly love it here and will be your personal concierge during your stay. We will provide whatever recommendations you require to ensure your Albuquerque vacation exceeds your expectations. Our main priority is to make sure you have a perfect stay and an authentic local experience.

Why Jeff chose Albuquerque

This location offer a respite from the congestion found in other parts of the city. The large one acre lots and unobstructed views provide a peaceful rural setting that is difficult to find so close to town. You won't hear the constant buzz of passing cars and trucks in this area, just a bit of nature and plenty of peace and quiet. There is also very little light pollution in this part of town so after the sun goes down you can enjoy a great view of the night stars and city lights.

What makes this recreational vehicle unique

A unique lodging alternative with resort-like amenities and close proximity to Sandia Mountain (Cibola National Forest) with over 150 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. This is a great location to watch the hot air balloons take flight in the early morning hours or if you are looking for that perfect spot to take your morning run or bike ride and avoid the cars and congestion found in other parts of the city.

Stop...this place is perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Everything from beginning to end was perfect. We spent five nights here during the 2016 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Thanks Jeff for quickly answering our questions (before booking, before arrival, and during our stay), sharing the logistical info we needed to get around during the Balloon Fiesta, and providing one of our very best VRBO experiences. We've stayed in many VRBOs throughout the U.S. This VRBO is quiet, convenient, and was filled with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Every detail provided (and then some). WONDERFUL place!!

  • 5 of 5

What a great time we just had at this wonderful location!! We read all the reviews prior to booking our stay and now that we've been there, we couldn't agree more with all the raving reviews. The view is spectacular, Jeff is kind and attentive (as needed), the bed is amazingly comfortable, the game room was SUPER fun, and the place is cozy. Jeff provided every. single. thing. you could want while vacationing, and then some. You can tell he takes great pride in attempting to make this the #1 place to stay while in Albuquerque. Thanks, Jeff! If we ever come back, you'll be our first call!

Great Place, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for comfort, location and everything you would ever need for a great vacation this is the place! Jeff made our vacation all of the above. The VRBO is advertized correctly with all the extras. Jeff was friendly and professional. The trailer was very comfortable and was the best stocked place we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had coffee, several types of tea and extras. Jeff welcomed us with a detailed book of things in the area and how to run all the extras included with the rental. The frig door was stocked with drinks and mixes for a small fee and the money went to a local charity which was a nice touch. Snacks and candies were left for us. Jeff even has a back and foot massager for relaxing after you have had a full day of nearby attractions. Shower with seat was great and towels thick and comfortable. Extras in shower of shampoo etc. The outside was comfortable and private with table, chairs, grill and a garden just for you. Playground, hammock, hot tub and games. The garage was great! We played pool, ping pong and foozeball while listening to music in the air conditioning. There was so much there from exercise equipment, canoe, paddle board to a sanua! We enjoyed going up on the lookout for 360 degree views of the area and getting to the balloon museum, Sandia Tram that are close by. Everything is close and the neighborhood is safe. We saw a bobcat and her two kittens while driving there and got some great photos of them and the area! I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Jeff's little piece of paradise!

Not enough words to describe how incredible our stay was!!!

  • 5 of 5

I'm not even sure where to start. I don't normally write reviews, and in fact this is my first.

It started from the moment I called and asked a question to Jeff about his property. From that moment and all the way until checkout he was incredible! He made sure that we lacked nothing...and I mean nothing! We had high expectations because of other reviews...and the place still exceeded them!

Every possible thing you would ever need for your stay is already in the trailer. They thought of everything! The other reviews talk of the garden, game room, and all the million other amenities so I won't go through all the details. Let's just say each ammenity delivered. They even let us use their washer and dryer!

Jeff text us asking if we needed anything throughout to make sure we were well taken care of. He even told us we could stay well past checkout if we wanted because they did not have anyone staying the night we were leaving! Tell me another place that would do that??

My wife and I are not sure which we are more impressed with...the service, or the actual property. We will definitely be back and we will tell all our Colorado friends to stay here when they want to get away.

We did not really do anything for the three days we were there and we were absolutely okay with that. We spent one whole day just lounging around and taking advantage of all the amenities. This is the PERFECT place for a getaway.

Know this...the reviews and the photos simply cannot do this place justice. Jeff could charge $200/night and would be completely justified in doing so because of everything that is offered. We literally felt like everything revolved around us during our stay. The fact that the price is just a little north of $100 is astonishing!

We felt like family just visiting our incredibly hospitable relatives. No words can describe how awesome this place is.

Thank you again Jeff for everything you have done. The work you put in to make our stay superb will not be forgotten.

Fabulous hosts and accommodations!!!

  • 5 of 5

Liked this place so much we stayed there on our way home, too!!! Immaculate living space, very comfortable bed, nice sized shower with soft towels. All the photos are 100% accurate. All that and a phenomenally friendly and supportive host: Jeff was the best. He provided a great intro to the trailer and the town. The description provided is accurate in every way. We especially loved sitting on the patio outside the trailer with the fire in the chiminea at the end of the day. A special treat was using the hot top, and watching the sunset with a glass of wine the "crow's nest" (a little deck) on the home's rooftop overlooking all of Albuquerque. We were even able to do our laundry! This place is really perfect in every way: relaxing, comfortable, and private.

A Little Bit of Heaven on Earth!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing stay we had in Albuquerque, NM in July, 2016. We are campers and loved the fact that the campsite was already set up and waiting for us! The camper was spotless and every amenity we needed was there and then some. The area and it's views were spectacular. This was our first trip to the area and we could not have been more pleased. The heat was definitely a shock, coming from the east coast, but we quickly adjusted by following Jeff's explicit instructions. We will definitely return. He was very attentive to our needs and helpful with all of our multiple questions and requests. All of his suggestions for dining and entertainment were spot on! Our favorite dining experience was "Vernon's Speakeasy" where we celebrated our 38th anniversary. The views from the crow's nest were breathtaking. There is nothing to compare with Albuquerque sunsets. It was very quiet and we never had to worry about any interruptions. We loved having a garden at our front door with instructions to use what we needed. Thanks for an incredible week. We can't wait to return.
