My wife and I are long-time Albuquerque residents and know the area well. We truly love it here and will be your personal concierge during your stay. We will provide whatever recommendations you require to ensure your Albuquerque vacation exceeds your expectations. Our main priority is to make sure you have a perfect stay and an authentic local experience.
This location offer a respite from the congestion found in other parts of the city. The large one acre lots and unobstructed views provide a peaceful rural setting that is difficult to find so close to town. You won't hear the constant buzz of passing cars in this area, just a bit of nature and plenty of peace and quiet. There is also very little light pollution in this part of the city so after the sun goes down you can enjoy a great view of the stars and city lights. This is also a great location to watch hot air balloons take flight in the early morning hours, or if you are looking for that perfect spot to take your morning run or bike ride and avoid the congestion found in other parts of the city.
This is not your grandparent's RV. At 40 feet with three deep slide-outs, recreational vehicles don't get much larger or more luxurious. This 2016 Forest River Wildwood 400RETS is one of the most well appointed destination trailers on the market. The slide-outs coupled with extra large windows give it a spacious feeling that will make you forget you are in an RV. The furnishings include everything you would expect to see in a luxury villa. Plus, the large shaded patio is setup to be an outdoor extension of the kitchen and living space so you can enjoy our cool nights and warm sunny days in comfort.
We were wondering what it'd be like to stay in a trailer... and it turned out to be great! Jeff and his wife truly did think of everything you could need during your stay and equipped the space with it all!
Jeff was the most gracious host, and he checked in throughout our stay to make sure we were settled and also that we had a full itinerary of things to do and see while in ABQ. We especially enjoyed the recommendation to visit Madrid, which, we thought, was better than Santa Fe!
We will be back and we'll recommend this place to friends and family heading that way. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to take advantage of all of the amenities Jeff's place had to offer!
I can't say enough about this camper, the location and the amenities. Jeff gave us a thorough tour and run down of the camper and all of the other amenities available to us. He also gave us some great pointers on things to see and do when in Albuquerque. The camper was incredible. The living area was very large, with a great kitchen. By the way, the fridge was fully stocked with some local beer, airline size booze bottles, for a fee that goes to a local charity. All pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, silverware, etc. were fully stocked. The kitchen had both a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, sweetener, cream, and a separate regular coffee brewer as well. The bathroom was very nice for a camping trailer. I'm 6' 1" tall, and had more room in the shower than most cruise ships. The mattress on the bed is obviously upgraded from a regular camping mattress, very comfortable.
The patio outside the camper has areas for sun worshipers and shade lovers. A chimnea all set for us to light, infrared grill, smoker, and a hammock were also right outside our door. Just beyond that was a garden with salad greens, and a wonderful herb garden.
The game room was great for an early morning workout, for mid-day games, and for a late night infrared sauna session. The bikes were all pumped up ready for us, and they worked great. The hottub was awesome as well, and felt great after long days hiking and/or biking.
Te view from the crow's nest was incredible. Watching the sunset on one side, and what the sun did to the mountains on the other was truly beautiful.
My wife and I loved our stay here. It was in a safe area, convenient to hiking and biking trails, and close to a number of restaurants. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Everything about this place is phenominal! The photos and other 5 star reviews are spot on! It was such a relaxing and fun trip! We can't wait to go back!
We traveled to Alb for an annual USSSA baseball tournament. I know what our thinking..you'd rather not stay in an RV in someone's back yard. Wrong!
Jeff's place is amazing! Clean, comfy loaded with anything you will need for your stay. We enjoyed the game room and gas fire pit out front. Take the stairs up to the Crow's nest for 360 views of ALB. I wish we would have came in earlier!
Stayed 3 nights during a soccer tournament, and really enjoyed the stay. Awesome set up outside with fire pits, playground, hot tub, and the game room was a big hit with the kiddos. Lots of eateries and activities very close by. Jeff was very accommodating, too. Planning on a return trip, possibly next year same time.
Jeff's place covered everything one could need or want! Very comfortable and not lacking in options for entertainment. Jeff was very thoughtful, attentive and helpful. We would return in a heartbeat
