About Jeff

My wife and I are long-time Albuquerque residents and know the area well. We truly love it here and will be your personal concierge during your stay. We will provide whatever recommendations you require to ensure your Albuquerque vacation exceeds your expectations. Our main priority is to make sure you have a perfect stay and an authentic local experience.

Why Jeff chose Northeast Heights

This location offer a respite from the congestion found in other parts of the city. The large one acre lots and unobstructed views provide a peaceful rural setting that is difficult to find so close to town. You won't hear the constant buzz of passing cars in this area, just a bit of nature and plenty of peace and quiet. There is also very little light pollution in this part of the city so after the sun goes down you can enjoy a great view of the stars and city lights. This is also a great location to watch hot air balloons take flight in the early morning hours, or if you are looking for that perfect spot to take your morning run or bike ride and avoid the congestion found in other parts of the city.

What makes this recreational vehicle unique

This is not your grandparent's RV. At 40 feet with three deep slide-outs, recreational vehicles don't get much larger or more luxurious. This 2016 Forest River model 400RETS is one of the most well appointed destination trailers on the market. The three slide-outs coupled with extra large windows give it a spacious feeling that will make you forget you are in an RV. The furnishings include everything you would expect to see in a luxury villa. Plus, the large shaded patio is setup to be an outdoor extension of the kitchen and living space so you can enjoy our cool nights and warm sunny days in comfort.

Don't pass this up ...

  • 5 of 5

This was a "stay-cation" (of sorts) for my wife and I who just needed a break and change of scenery but had little time. Since our time is limited, and, when at home we do all those things at home in the way of "work" instead of relaxing and enjoying life so much of the time, we decided to find a place close that we might be able to relax. Who knew there was a place just across town near the mountains that provided the convienance of "getting out of the house" and still know what is close to do if one wanted to? Truthfully, this was such a pleasure that when it was time to leave, we wondered if we were ready?

The host, Jeff, met us when we arrived and showed us around the property. There is truly NOTHING to want for. We were surprised at the convienances of everything. Game room with everything from air-hockey to darts, setting areas with fire-pits (both wood and Propane), TV with cable and Blu-Ray and a kitchen that all you needed was your food.

Many may be skeptical of the location and the lodging - don't be. There is privacy but yet you also know that if you need anything (which you probably will not) Jeff is just a call or text away. If you are from out of town, this is convienant to much but yet one you can feel as though there is nothing too near and you can relax.

Thank you Jeff! Just awesome! We will be back!

Great getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 weeks and were very comfortable. Jeff had great information about the area and about the camper in a large binder which we found helpful. He also can answer any question about the area and was very easy to contact. The game room was a fun place with everything from ping pong to pool to exercise machines. We'd recommend this as a fun place to stay while visiting the many museums and attractions.

Wonderful Albuquerque Experience

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here in early February 2018. The trailer was spotless and private. There were many fun things to do right there, such as the game room, a hut tub, lots of seating areas in the warm sun, and beautiful walks in the neighborhood at the base of the mountains. The sunsets were out of this world. Jeff was the ultimate host, making us feel very at home. He was very warm, kind, and friendly, but allowed us our space. The bed was very comfortable and the RV had everything you could ask for. It was very deluxe. We explored New Mexico for the first time and will definitely be back. We loved it and have already recommended it to our friends!

A gem in a sea of ABQ casitas

  • 5 of 5

So I wanted to surprise my husband on our 15 yr. anniversary. He knew we were going to Albuquerque, but that's all. I searched for weeks on home away, and I've booked casitas in Abq before, but I wanted something special and boy did I find it. Jeff has an amazing piece of heaven here. It is secluded, peaceful, romantic (without being gaudy) and rejuvenating.

Both hubby and I loved it! From our drive up the mountain and onto this beautiful property until we sadly had to leave. RV itself is immaculate. Super clean, roomy for the two of us and was fully stocked. The kitchen has everything necessary with a full size fridge, you have a range/oven if you cook (lol). The bathroom had a big shower with great water pressure, and the bedroom had plenty of storage plus a big comfy bed. The living room has a great TV, a fireplace, and I enjoyed the comfy chair with both back and foot massagers! Now the outside!!!! WOW! You have several cozy seating areas, a grill, different heating units, the hot tub, and crow's nest (watched a gorgeous sunset from here) and a great veggie/herb garden. By the way Jeff, I brought some green onions, chives, and mint home with me. Yum!

Not if this isn't enough, you also have a recreation room with so much to do in there. Hubby and I had "friendly" games of table tennis, pool, and darts. I also enjoyed the infrared sauna... so relaxing! Two bikes are available to use and we so want to go back during summer and try paddle boarding and kayaking in the river. This room also has a TV and lots of music/mp3. Hubby and I danced in there and also watched game 3 of the world series while shooting pool.

The location itself is great and Jeff has a book full of info on local attractions and train schedule to Santa Fe! You are close to everything but away from the noise. Went to our favorite restaurant Thai Vegan, it's delicious! We also had a great night of salsa dancing at The Cooperage, this is a steakhouse that has a designated area for dancing. They had a great live band Son Como Son playing, we had a blast!

Jeff, we can't thank you enough for sharing your wonderful home with us. We will definitely be back. So many extras, just not having to rent bikes is a big plus, and you have so much more. We hadn't played pool since we were dating, thanks for helping this 15 yr. couple remember the good 'ol days and recommit to 15+ more. You deserve 10 stars!!!!!

Albuquerque's North Albuquerque Acres is a semi-rural suburban setting that offers a a sharp contrast to the closely spaced homes and congestion found in other neighborhoods. Our guests often comment how quite and peaceful the area is compared to other parts of the city. With its close proximity to the Tramway it is an ideal location from which to set off on day hikes in the Sandia's, bicycling along the foothills, and skiing. The area provides easy access to the highways, grocery stores, restaurants, and casinos (Sandia Resort & Casino is just 3 miles away). The Santa Fe is just over an hour away via a scenic train ride to right to plaza. An ice skating rink, tennis courts, and parks are within walking distance.
