Why Tracy & Danny chose Northern Michigan

This is a beautiful location. With no neighbors, it's a peaceful place. We have children, so making this a family center for our family was very important. This is the place where my family and I unplug from the outside world and plug into the wilderness, lake time and s'mores by the campfire. It's our ultimate dream vacation home.

Great location for a snowmobile trip. Close to the Hideaway Bar

Great place to stay with a group of friends. The cabin is nicely decorated and has a wide open concept for socializing with friends. We never ran out of hot water witch gets 5 stars in my book. The cabin is less than a mile away from the intersection of trail #679&791. It's a great spot. Just a heads up you have to park the truck and trailer about a 1/4 mile away and haul your gear on the sleds up to the cabin. Not a big deal though. Makes it more fun. But all and all its a great place for snowmobiles

We had a great trip. House is very wheelchair friendly as my husband is a paraplegic. The orv trails are right by the cabin. Beautiful trails, rode everyday. Thanks for sharing your cabin. Hope to come back sometime.

Awesome Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice cabin, spacious and clean. Very secluded and private. We loved how it was decorated, very "Up North" feeling. We came up snowmobiling and the cabin is very close to the trails, can easily connect to the state trail right from the cabin. If you are pulling a trailer to the cabin in the winter, be cautious of the driveway though, there are some hills and turns, as its a long driveway. We had to leave the larger trailer at the end of the driveway as we were concerned would of gotten stuck taking it back to the cabin. It is an awesome set up for a couple with kids, but not the best for multiple couples, as the other non-master bedrooms have smaller beds. I would definitely stay here again if I was doing a trip with my kids
