We are so excited to offer this penthouse apartment in our newly renovated building complete with off street parking space, private elevator, large piazza and gourmet kitchen. Master bedroom on 3rd floor contains queen bed and large master bath. Antique staircase leads to 4th floor bedroom containing 1 full bed, 2 twin beds and a full bath. Large sectional sofa, 9 seat kitchen island, 2 flat screens and additional full hall bath are just a few of the amenities. Easy walk to all the best Charleston has to offer. The perfect venue for a short or long term stay or for hosting small meetings or elegant dinner parties. Our nightly rate is based on 4 but we can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The restoration of this building was a labor of love that took almost 5 years to complete. Our Greek restaurant, Stella's, occupies the main floor and is open for Sunday brunch and lunch and dinner daily. The second floor is a banquet space that seats up to 60 guests for all types of parties.
Our building offers an opportunity to stay in what has already become a historic landmark in the upper king corridor. We are one block from the vibrant King St shopping district and 2 blocks from visitor's center.
My wife and I stayed in this amazing property for four nights and had a ball. Steven greeted us on arrival helped with baggage and gave us a complete tour and overview of the area. Great guy who made sure everything was perfect. The penthouse was spotless, well furnished and had a marvelous kitchen. Great location....walked to virtually everything we did within the King and Market street areas. The Greek resturante on the first floor was fabulous with unique atmosphere. It was great to be able to drop in for a quick bit or drink only a few steps from our room. I can't say enough about this property. We've stayed in many high end facilities but this one is tops on the list...... exceeding our expectations in virtually everything. Will be returning next year.

Steven, Thanks for being there when we needed you and not when we didn't. We picked your place for the location, the piazza, and the kitchen. We enjoyed all, maybe not enough time for the piazza. Lovely place. For the comfort and enjoyment of future guests two points to consider, the large water heater noise and heat plus strong odors in the elevator. Thanks Jim
This was our second stay in the residence of this beautifully restored building; with plans already in the works for our next visit to Charleston . As a renter, the highest compliment I can extend is a return stay. Steven has certainly found his niche in the hospitality industry. We love this place! Also, while in Charleston, be sure not to miss Stella’s, Steven’s Greek restaurant on the ground level. The food was so good we went back for Sunday brunch before our departure. We stayed at this apartment in March 2018. It is on the third floor of a building where the first floor is a highly rated restaurant (Stella’s). The apartment has a master bedroom with a master bathroom attached, a separate full bathroom with tub and shower, a laundry room, and living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of supplies, appliances and spices for cooking. The upstairs is like a loft area with a. Queen sized bed and two twin beds. There is a full bathroom upstairs too. There is parking available in the parking of the restaurant lot. The apartment is dog friendly and we really loved being able to bring our dog along for vacation. There is a large balcony that we didn’t get to use much as it was a bit chilly but would be really nice in warmer weather. The owner, Steve, is extremely accommodating and the epitome of southern hospitality. He responded to all our questions and sent us recommendations. Charleston is a great city with amazing food and this apartment is only a block from King Street where most of the great restaurants and shopping are. We almost stayed in the “South of Broad” area which is charming and historic but not as walkable to all the great food and bars. This apartment is on the pricier side but more affordable when splitting with other couples and definitely worth the price!
We stayed at this property for 4 weeks. The property was exactly as shown and I will say it was even larger then I thought it would be.
The host Steve went out if his way to address any issues very quickly. Steve even installed a internet booster when I said it was slow.
The restaurant downstairs was absolutely fantastic.
The staff was very helpful and always had a smile.
I highly recommend this property as the location is fantastic. You can walk everywhere.
I realize I'm quite tardy in reviewing this rental, but I must rave about it--it's the best place we've stayed in during our 4 yrs visiting our daughter at CofC!! Very high-end and luxurious--Steve was marvelous to work with. The location was perfect for graduation festivities--so easy to walk to the ceremony. It's located a block away from King St--close enough to all the restaurants, etc. but quieter than being directly on the main drag. Talk about wonderful restaurants--Stella's is on the first floor of the building! It is our favorite restaurant in Richmond and, as luck would have it, it had just opened last spring in Charleston---it was a match made in heaven for us!
