Clean and well equipped apartment
Denise has shown all efforts to realise a nice stay in her apartment. She is very friendly and supporting if required. The apartment itsself is clean and well equipped. The aircon, which was very necessary this summer, was quite noisy. And people should be aware that the area outside (Bedford/ Fulton Ave) seems not to be very save. We had 2 issues with homeless and drunk people when coming back with the kids from the metro.
Comfortable, stylish, but most of all the owner was AMAZINGLY accommodating
We had a great 2 night stay in this 3 story home. 4 adults and 2 kids, fit comfortably. Each room Had its own window AC. Lots of soft blankets and great towels. Even umbrellas for the random storm that did come through. The kitchen had every thing you need to make it feel like home. The only room we didnt use was the basement because did not have an AC but there was a small window and fan but for a family like us used to dry heat, the humidity made it difficult to sleep so made made it work without using that portion.
The house is located next to a church. Very friendly people but on a Sunday night it was a bit loud until about 10pm. Denise had thought that through providing earplugs in the closest room effected by the noise. But between the AC hum and the fact that it ended at an early time they where not needed.
The only con I can think of was that the basement was not as useable as we had hoped. The pool table was dangerously wobbly, and with 2 kids we stayed away from that area.
BUUUUT with that being said the owner is amazing. She was a message away anytime I needed anything and not only that she was extremely accommodating with our personal needs during check in time. Any con I mentioned was absolutely taken away by the way she showed us care.
Thank you again Denise for making our first few nights in a new city feel so comfortable.
Great space for the money!
Everything was clean and comfortably furnished. Very spacious for NY. The 2nd bathroom was super handy, perfect for 2 couples. Good neighborhood and about 10-15 min walk to subway stations. Denise was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages Would definitely stay here again!
Great home base to relax at after walking all over NYC!
We loved our stay! We had a really early flight and Denise let us drop off our luggage there at 11am. One of the ac units wasn't working and she got it fixed right away for us. The blow up mattress was a life saver for one of my kids since she couldn't sleep on the little couch. The grocery store around the corner was great and the new deli shop called kings deli a few doors down from Duncan Donuts was awesome! They make fresh sandwiches with Boars Head lunchmeat and 100 others things made to order. The only suggestion I would make is to have a mirror in the back bedroom for women to apply makeup. I had to use the one in my sisters room if the bathrooms were occupied. Thanks for the memories!
Home away from home
Such a charming and relaxing place to stay. We visited New York for our first time and did not know what to expect. This place was amazing. Neighbors were nice, subway, restaurants, and markets were within walking distance. Denise made sure we had arrived and if we had any needs or questions. Parking was in the street but not a problem finding a spot. We are a family of 5. 2 boys (12,10) and father in law. Outdoor area in back was the best to come "home" to and relax after a day in the city.

Elegant and comfortable!
The space was charming and well appointed. Great neighborhood, a wonderful coffee shop around the corner where we had breakfast every day, and an amazing grocery store 3 blocks away. Also only 3 blocks to the subway! It was great to have some outdoor space in the back. We visited in summer, so the AC was a lifesaver!! Our only wish would be for a foam pad on the beds, our older bones would love something a little cushier. Have already recommended to friends, and can't wait to come back!
