This house has over 1700-sq and sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. Master bedroom as a new queen size bed and separate bathroom with private entrance. Second bedroom has a new double bed that sleeps 2. Third bedroom has 2 new single beds. Fourth room has a leather futon, plus we can add another single bed. All beds have great quality sheets.
House has a open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen. It has a washer and dryer, heater, central A/C, and carport for 2 cars.
This house is so conveniently located. You can head to the beach, Downtown Orlando, the Disney area, or just across the street where the Altamonte Mall and Crane's roost are. You can go out at night and enjoy a fun time dancing, eating or just relaxing. Or if you've had enough with the city, you can go down the road less than 2 miles away to the Seminole Trail Head where you can either walk through a natural, enclosed biking/walking trail, or exercise with the vast variety of recreational activities such as tennis, basketball, baseball, and racquetball.
We recommend you also visit Winter Park. Charming town, with great shops, restaurants and activities!
I came from the northeast 40 years ago and stayed in Seminole County. I found that this is a great place to live. There are so many things to do. My wife and I love it and I know you will too! We love to travel.
My wife works at a local college
We live, love, laugh !
James purchased this house in 2004
We live in the same neighborhood as this house. Why? Because it is a great place to live. We are close to everything - just 10 min from downtown Orlando, and 5 minutes from Winter Park. Seminole State College, Rollins College, and UCF are also very close.
Disney is 25 minutes grom here, Universal is 15 minutes.... Or mall across the street.
I loved this property because it is close to all the things I need. Shopping, Springs, Trail, dancing, and other fun things to do.
Hi Rosa and James... thank you for a great stay. I trust you will find everything in good order. I had a couple of notes on the counter of minor things you might want to address, but we were very comfortable. We look forward to staying here next year.
Friendly, helpful, engaged owner. House needs some updating and regular attention. Good location and met our needs for a fair price. We would stay here again. There is local traffic noise but hotels would have the same thing. Awesome park just across the road.
Stayed here while our son attended a camp in the area. Very centrally located for visiting other areas around Orlando (of course Altamonte Springs, but also Winter Park, Sanford, Mount Dora, etc) without being in the middle of Orlando itself. We also drove to Disney to eat one evening, and that also was as simple as hoping on the interstate. If you are here just for Disney, just know that I-4 is a mess with construction and will be for a while. It makes your commute to Disney a little more of an issue than it would be normally. You would probably want to stay closer to the parks during the construction. :(
As far as this property, it is a very nice, comfortable and adequate place. Neatly kept and sufficient for sure. James and Rosa are super easy to deal with and easy to contact as well. They have some toiletries and other things that make a stay nice, such as laundry detergent, provided, which is nice not to purchase something like that just for possibly one or two uses. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice.
Do take note it is located just off (what I'd call a 1/2 block off) a VERY busy 4 lane highway. This makes for traffic sounds, sirens, and LOTS of walkby traffic. We felt safe at all times but if you aren't accustomed to the "noise" of being near this, you'd want to know. It certainly wasn't awful but if you sleep very quietly, need to sleep in, or have a small child who is easily awakened...just take note. However, the same highway is where EVERYTHING is in Altamonte Springs, so you simply pull right onto the road and can be to any shopping or restaurant in no time. In fact, if you would like to walk across the busy 4lane, you can walk to tons in Uptown Altamonte, as well as the beautiful park/lake.
We enjoyed our stay close to everything. One thing I think should be mentioned is your deposit will take over four days to return. With that being the way it is done waiting so long for return of deposit is a reason we will not book this property again.
we were very pleased with the house. very clean, landlords james and rosa were attentive for any needs, extra pillows , sheets etc. came to see us after arrival to see if we needed anything and show us how things worked. they made it clear they were available anytime if we needed them. house comfortable location very good, I would recommend this house without hesitation. were were in fla for 2 weddings my nephews on west coast and my daughters wedding 7 miles away. I m a runner and my daughter and I ran on the Seminole Wekiva Trail for a bit. it is a 14 mile trail black top for our portion, made on what was an old railway.
