Loved it! Exceeded our Expectations!
This place exceeded our expectations. When we arrived, we were surprised at how big and roomy it was - very open with 10 ft ceilings. For a 1 bedroom condo, it's very large.
There was a bottle of wine, a few chocolates and a welcoming note - a lovely touch and we certainly enjoyed both the wine and the chocolates. We also loved that there was a Nespresso machine just like we have at home :). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. My husband loved the TV channel selection and Alexa :). And we both loved the digital lock system - no keys to worry about!
The owner, Ana, was very responsive on the two occasions we asked questions and she also made recommendations on fun things to do.
The surrounding property was beautiful and spacious and we took advantage of the gym, spa and tennis courts as we found rackets in the closet :).
We also took advantage of several of the 33 pools around the property.
Everyone we encountered at Desert Princess was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property!
Pretty Solid Option
The place was clean and tidy, check-in was easy and the pictures were accurate in the posting. The only thing I would be wary of would be sleeping on the couch. They should really not list this place as sleeping more than 2 people, since the "sleeper sofa" should not be slept on. If they replace it with something better, then this place would be excellent.
I cannot in good faith recommend this condo
This condo has great potential, it's in a great location for travel in and around the Palm Springs area. But it's not there yet - far from it.
This is a small place but it's open and airy and not over burned with furniture. It's a nice space. The local contact is awesome, we talked twice and met once. Good guy.
One odd thing is that most of the light switches are installed upside down...OFF is on the top and ON is on the bottom.
The bed is the only comfortable piece of furniture in the entire condo. The beautiful blue couch is mostly unusable as a couch. I sat down in the middle of the couch/cushion and hit a steel bar, felt like I'd bruised my tailbone, can't lay on the couch as you feel every bit of metal than apparently turns it into a bed. I ended up having to sit on the floor or tried cramming myself into one corner at the armrest.
The table and chairs are very small....child like small, but for an adult you will have back problems if you sit for long and I was very afraid the chair would break.
Absolutely no instructions on how the tv system works, we ended up plugging in our ROKU so we could watch something. No instructions on using the entertainment system - which is ancient and interesting looking. Didn't use it or even touch it.
And the check in instructions were less than adequate, the keyless system works just fine as long as you understand the the way it works. I had to have our local contact explain it to me, then we further figured it out. It works but it is not intuitive. VRBO or Evolve or Owner needs to provide better instructions IMHO.
If they replace the furniture and give something good to sit on this would be good for very short stays.

We're sorry to hear that you found the couch and dining room table uncomfortable, however, this is the first time the owner was made aware of this concern and appreciates your suggestions on areas of improvement. To rectify your concerns regarding the issues you had with the keyless entry system for this condo and the lack of information on the pre-stay email, we have included a link to a video that will show future guests how the keyless entry system works so that they will have the necessary tools to easily gain entry to the condo.

Cozy cool condo
This condo is located in a secure golf course country club. Besides being a nice one bedroom unit with all amenities- iron, lotion, pool towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials, there is a fitness club & various swimming pools. There is also a Club with a restaurant/ bar. I don't golf but there’s that too. Ivan was very responsive to any question I had. As a single gal, I felt pleased, safe & well take care of. I look forward to returning to this location for my next Desert stay.
A vacation that turned into a total nightmare.
WE ARRIVED ON THURSDAY VERY EXCITED ABOUT OUR WEEK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL RESORT. WELL THE REFRIGERATOR WAS HARDLY COOL. NO TOASTER , OR WASTE CANS IN BATHROOMS, NO CAN OPENER OR BAKEWARE. THE CABLE TV DID NOT WORK. WE CALLED THEY HAD US STAY IN CONDO NEXT DAY AND WAIT FOR PROPERTY CONTACT. THEN WAIT FOR HANDYMAN WHO SAID THE FRIDGE COULDN'T BE REPAIRED. ON SATURDAY WE HAD TO WAIT FOR CABLE GUY WHO FIXED CABLE. THE OWNER NOTIFIED US THAT THE FRIDGE WAS BEING DELIVERED THAT WAS OUR 6TH DAY AT CONDO WITH NO FRIDGE. THE PROPERTY MANAGER CALLED AND SAID THE OWNER WAS WILLING TO COMP US 2 DAYS OR $100.00 . WILL WE TOOK TWO EXTRA DAYS. BIG DEAL WHAT A NIGHTMARE. BEWARE OF THIS RENTAL.😒�😒�.
Karla, we welcome and appreciate constructive feedback, however, we and the homeowner do not believe this feedback is warranted. The homeowner goes to great lengths to ensure the condo is meticulous for each guest arrival and they personally check the property regularly to ensure everything is functional so guests can have a comfortable stay. As soon as the owner was notified that you were experiencing issues with the cable, they explained how to turn it on. They have a smart TV which guests typically enjoy as it has easy access to watching shows on Netflix. Even more, they had the local contact visit the condo immediately to assist you with this. As one TV in one of the bedrooms wasn't working, they contacted Spectrum to ask for a technician to visit the property right away to resolve. As the owner prioritizes the guest experience, they went out of their way to assist you even more by ordering a new fridge, even though no other guests have reported issues with the one in unit. This was delivered during your stay within two days, as any kind of appliance delivery can take a couple of days. To help alleviate some of the inconvenience, the homeowner went to generous measures to make things right by providing compensation. Even though these technical issues were out of their control, we would like to clarify that the owner did everything they could to ensure you could have a pleasant stay. Since your stay, all other feedback has been positive and we're confident future guests will love staying here. Best, the Evolve Team

Great property rental in the Desert Princess Country Club with all the amenities of home. I can easily reccommmend this rental.
