We are Miami natives and consider the keys our second home.
We really enjoy the Keys laid back yet active lifestyle, where we go to disconnect from the city yet stay busy bicycling, boating, and enjoying the outdoors.
John purchased this house in 2015
This home is the perfect family vacation home. Not only is it in a great neighborhood, close to all your shopping needs and on the water. Super quiet and safe neighborhood for kids to ride bike and play. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to Key West and Marathon.
Home is located on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of yard space and plenty of key deer roaming in the neighborhood. Historic No Name Bridge and No Name Key are minutes away. No Name Pub is walking distance with great pizza. Our area is known for some of the best fishing in the keys.
Our family stayed at this amazing Keys Home on 11/10/16-11/18/16. This was our first trip to the Keys in the month of November. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The home's location was quiet yet close to many attractions. The Key deer visited the yard frequently which was a joy to our children. We simply could not have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. We plan on renting this home in the future to make many more memories.
This was my wife's first trip to the keys and our week in Big Pine couldn't have been better. The house is close to Key West but far enough away to be quiet at night. In the morning, the views from the living room, kitchen and bedrooms are amazing. We enjoyed a perfect sunrise each day we were there. The view from the heated pool is just a good. The house is very nice with stone floors everywhere and a perfect open airy feel. We spent a couple of nights visiting Key West and enjoyed some great food. Other days we spent at Bahia Honda state park which is right up the road. The beaches there are great and snorkeling in pretty good also. We saw lots of Key Deer on Big Pine including a few sleeping in the front yard. The WiFi in the house is strong and we had no problems streaming movies on our computer. It is also convenient having a supermarket just up the road. The description and photos of the property were accurate and the house was spotless when we arrived.
Overall we give this trip 5 stars. The house was large for just two people but we enjoyed every minute there. We will be back.
This was the first time my husband and I have gone to the Keys . Well let me tell you that this was the nicest vacation we've had in a long time !from the minute you walk into the house you feel at home. The house has a very open floor plan, dining and living area,, the bathrooms are very spa like and the bedrooms are very spacious and in every room there is are spectacular views of the water. It was very relaxing sitting around the pool having cocktails and looking at the different wildlife in the back.Sometimes the key deer would walk by the house. The home is also very close to shopping, restaurants and about 30 minutes from Key west.we spent the day walking around Duval st and really enjoyed it ! I would highly recommend this property to rent
This was our pre-school, summer, family vacation. The house was situated away from the main road and on an isolated neighborhood, canal in front of the house and open water in the back. The house was lovely and modern with ample room for family vehicles. The neighborhood was so safe and kid friendly. The inside was perfectly adorned, classy coastal with beautiful ocian views the second you step into the open floor plan dining/living area. The minute you step in, you just want to drop your bags grab a glass of wine and lounge on the daybed staring off into the beautiful blue horizon.
We are Florida residents and came down to enjoy the pristine waters and fabulous fishing you can’t find anywhere else but the Florida Keys. The house is very comfortable with ample bedrooms and a spectacular view from every room. It is immaculately kept and clutter free which makes for a most comfortable stay. What an abundance of wildlife you will find here! Every afternoon my kids looked forward to see the key deer parade through the yard. We moored our boat off the dock and particularly enjoyed coming back after a long day on the water to relax in the swimming pool. The house is ideally situated close to all the things we planned to experience. We went fishing off Sombrero Reef, snorkeling at Looe Key Coral Reef, swimming off the waters of Bahia Honda State Park, and even took a short 30 min. drive to Key West for a fabulous dinner overlooking the sunset. The only thing we regret is wishing we had more time to spend in this paradise. Can’t wait to come back!
The property was gorgeous. Very accommodating for my family of five. Kids loved the kayaking, pool, key deer and all the other things that you can do nearby like boating, fishing and snorkeling. We had a fun yet relaxing time.
Bahia Honda voted 1 of the best and scenic beaches in the U.S. less than 10 min. drive or boat.
