About Stephanie

We consider the keys our second home.

We really enjoy the Keys laid back yet active lifestyle, where we go to disconnect from the city yet stay busy bicycling, boating, and enjoying the outdoors.

Stephanie purchased this house in 2015

Why Stephanie chose Tropical Bay

This home is the perfect family vacation home. Not only is it in a great neighborhood, close to all your shopping needs and on the water. Super quiet and safe neighborhood for kids to ride bike and play. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby. 30 minutes to Key West and Marathon.

What makes this house unique

Home is located on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of yard space and plenty of key deer roaming in the neighborhood. Historic No Name Bridge and No Name Key are minutes away. No Name Pub is walking distance with great pizza. Our area is known for some of the best fishing in the keys.

Amazing Location

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing location and beautiful home! We spent the week of Christmas/New Years with breathtaking views of The Gulf of Mexico, swimming in the pool, watching pods of dolphins playing and jumping on the boat to catch numerous fish! The hurricane did leave the area looking a little sad, but it definitely didn't take away from the amazing time we had! The home was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of bath and beach towels. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, newly remodeled house.

  • 4 of 5

We loved the pool and ocean views.

Wish there were lounge chairs on pool deck. We are sun lovers and had to purchase chairs which we couldn't bring home on the plane. Not much shade for children, even using umbrella. Love the location, however abandoned house next door (currently for sale) was unattractive. Entire block was hit hard by Irma and is in process of rebuilding. I'm sure it will be back to it's best soon!

Thanksgiving 2017 Stay

  • 5 of 5

What a truly wonderful experience in this gorgeous home. My family and I had an amazing stay, the house has been recently painted and restored with updated furniture and electronics. My family and I went for Thanksgiving 2017 and the ocean view in the back of the house was breathtaking, the pool was very warm with the pool heater and was very pleasurable in the evenings. The area does look a little rough due to the hurricane that just passed but nothing major as all the stores and restaurants are up and running. The rooms are very spacious, along with the living room and the kitchen to where everyone can gather. We were walking distance from the No Name Pub and the deer all around. The restaurants in Marathon to Key west are all open, you must try the Square grouper. In Big Pine you have Winn Dixie Supermarket and CVS. Owner left us so many little extra's like family games, pool towels, beach tote and a fully supplied kitchen for baking and cooking. Cool a/c and great cable TV channel lineup. Just those little details made it feel like home. Key west is only 25 minutes away. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to have a wonderful experience in the Florida Keys with family and friends.

Great Big Pine Key Location for a Secluded Keys Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Loved, Loved, Loved, this house. Fantastic, Clean, and Comfortable. Loved the secluded location. I have been going to Key West for years and staying in Key West. This is the first time we stayed in another key. I was not disappointed! Loved exploring the area. Easy drive to grocery store, Bahia Honda State Park and Key West. We walked to No Name Pub 2 times while we were there, Fun place to go that is nearby. All bedrooms were very spacious. I would have to say that one of my favorite features in the house was the amazing view from the main room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. There was plenty of room in the kitchen for a few of us to be there at one time. We spent a lot of time outside at the pool. The outside area was very relaxing and you can not complain about the view. The only thing we had trouble with was the sea grass around the boat. It seemed to get thicker as the week went on giving us some trouble

getting in and out from the dock. With talking to the neighbors that were down fishing, they did explain that they are trying to put up some barrier to help avoid that from happening in the future. Overall, I found the owners extremely easy to work with and prompt with all responses. All instructions provided were very helpful and easy to follow. This was one of the best family vacations we have had in years! I would stay again in a heart beat.

Making Memories In Big Pine Key

  • 5 of 5

Our family had an incredible time in this beautiful home. Everything went smooth and John was prompt at returning our calls whenever we had a question. Clean, spacious yet cozy, it features an amazing water view from all but one bedroom. The home was tastefully updated with a contemporary beachy approach that ties in to it's surroundings. The master suite is huge and the king size mattress was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The kitchen was our favorite gathering spot with a huge island and has everything you need except ice cube trays! . The dock worked out great for our 23" boat and there is a very close local marina where you can launch for a nominal fee. The seaweed was there more days than not due to the winds, (and does have an odor) but it did not detour us from enjoying the sparkling & refreshing pool and we had no problem getting out with the boat or using the kayaks. One of our most memorable things was the Key deer making their rounds in the early evening. The location worked well for us as we walked to No Name Pub, drove to Key West (maybe 25 minutes away) and there's a nice Winn Dixie 5 minutes away.

Beautiful home and View!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I love the keys and have rented homes for our boys spring break for the past 8 years. When you open the front door the WOW factor hits you- the views are amazing!! The home has nice sized rooms, the master is amazing with a lovely view, large closet area and large bathroom- great shower!!

Excellent kitchen area - we only cooked a few meals but it had everything we needed. The pool and water area are very comfortable and amazing views. Very quiet, we had nice neighbors and enjoyed talking with them, but yet didnt have to. We really enjoyed being able to pull right up to the front door- no stairs, which is nice.
