WE ARE ALSO LESS THAN A MILE FROM MOCKINGBIRD STATION WHERE YOU WILL FIND DOZENS OF SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND A MOVIE THEATER. The treehouse was PERFECT in EVERY WAY!

The attention to details in this lovely apartment was very much appreciated! We had everything we needed for our week in Dallas while attending the Dallas Gift Market! The decor is lovely & comfortable-easy access to the highway & fun places nearby to eat & drink. Loved this place!!!

Great Location, Some Opportunity

I was in town on business and stayed in the unit for about 2 months. The unit is in a great location. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The owner's were easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The unit was clean. There were some repair issues that needed to be addressed. Much of the shower grout was falling out and the shower curtain was quite moldy. I stubbed my toe on numerous occasions from the tile sticking up by the shower. I did notify the owner but she said it was too small a project to warrant a handyman visiting. Also the towels were old and smelled within 1 or 2 uses. The unit was fully stocked and all electronics worked without fail. There were some homeless people in the alley and the surrounding areas. I kept the outside light on at night for safety and was questioned by the owner why I kept the light on. Kind of a strange inquiry. The only other issue, albeit minor, was that the unit is above a 2 car garage. When the residents of the house pulled into the garage, sometimes at late hours, you card easily hear their cars and conversations. For the price and location, I'd stay again!

Owner's Response: Hi Tony, I appreciate your feedback. The ceramic tile was repaired right after you left and the entire shower re-caulked. The damaged tile was not in the shower but right outside. I feel poorly about stubbing the toe. There was a thick rug over the damage to protect this from happening until the Treehouse had an opening to get this repaired. We hung a new shower curtain in December. Based on your feedback, we will start replacing the shower curtain regularly, thank you! I will inspect the towels. They are above average quality, not old and in good condition. Perhaps they are sitting in the washing machine too long? Nonetheless, We can replace those. You are the first to witness homless people in the alley and I trust your experience. The home is three blocks off the high traffic street, so they would pass other opportunities before reaching us. All said, your experience is unique and unfortunate. Our front property has a new born baby and they were the ones mentioning the light. Your response of coming home well after dark justified keeping the light on, in my mind. You can hear the front home tenants come and go from work. Otherwise, they stay tight with the baby. The husband does work late at time at the hospital. Thank you for your constructive feedback.

The Treehouse is in the highly sought out location of Lower Greenville Ave. Homes built in the 1920's are being restored or torn down and rebuilt in the Craftsman Style. The desire to live here is based on it's immediate location north of Downtown, walk two blocks to Tietze Park with tennis courts, 1 mile to Whole Foods or .8 miles to Trader Joes. Located 2 miles to the congested Central Expressway, from the Treehouse you can take the back roads into downtown located four miles directly south of the Treehouse. Less than one mile away is the Truck Yard, rated within the top ten beer gardens in USA and it has excellent food trucks, live music and an amazing experience. If jogging/biking suites you, head over to White Rock Lake (3 miles) and enjoy the paths surrounding this lovely nature experience. About 4.5 miles is the Dallas Museum of Natural History, Deep Ellum and it's Brewing Company and various restaurants, the Dallas Farmer's Market, Main Street Garden Park-also with food trucks. Come for a visit to the Treehouse and see why so many people wish to call this area home!

Please do not approach property without a confirmed reservation. There is a private entrance to the Treehouse from the alley (only) behind the front home. The alley driveway is used exclusively by guest of the Treehouse. To the left of this driveway are stairs going above a two car garage, to the Treehouse studio. There is a private code for security to enter the front door to the studio. This code will be provided you when you text me the morning you arrive. Our area is truly one of the best places to be! Please stay off of driveway accessed from front street.

Very quiet neighborhood location, loud music and parties are not permitted and will be cause for immediate eviction.

Smoking: This is a non-smoking property. Any incidence of smoking on the premises (either outdoor or indoor) will result in immediate forfeiture of damage deposit, plus an additional cleaning fee of $300. In addition, continued violation of non-smoking policy may result in eviction of guest, who agrees any unused nights will be forfeited and no refunds will be due.
