Everything as described.. visiting over Christmas and the horse farm and a quickly arranged horse lesson was perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter.. Beth was a fantastic host, attentive and quick to respond to the few questions we had. Remember, no kitchen.
Relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of hectic everyday life. Loved walking the grounds, talking to the horses and the fresh air. Close to everything but you feel like you are way out in the country. Thank you so much for your hospitality! While the outside was fantastic, The accommodations themselves were top notch, clean, cozy and beautifully apppointed.
We spent a Monday and Tuesday night while attending a seminar at the nearby Wake Tech Community College. The accommodations area located on a beautiful horse farm and are located above actual horse stalls which are only evident by the occasional bump in the night. There are two very nice bedrooms, a full bath and a half bath in the tv room. The tv room is a large room with a huge tv (Monday night football) and very nice couches. This room has a wet bar in the corner with drinks for sale. The pool table that shows up in the pictures is off limits but there is an air hockey table you can play on. One negative was that the VRBO website would not let me opt out of the rental insurance (as I have with all my other VRBO) so that added a lot of cost to a relatively short stay. All in all it was a great alternative to staying at a local motel and I would recommend it for small groups.
This apt. is everything the site says it is and them some! The pictures are dead on, but to experience the place first hand was very impressive. The stay started with a warm greeting from the owners. We were shown the apt, and went over everything. I had some rough personal experiences recently and just wanted a quiet and relaxing place to stay for a couple days. This was exactly what I needed. Very clean, and tastefully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. Property is out in the country, yet conveniently located to the city, shopping, and of course for breakfast, a place called Brigs! I highly recommend this property and would most definitely stay there again! Any time you sent a message to the owners, they responded very quickly, class act owners! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to stay there
The apartment was just as described. Clean comfortable and Beautiful both inside and the views. Loved having coffee in the morning watching the horses! Beth and Penny were both accommodating and friendly. We were in the area for college visits at Chapel Hill 30 min easy drive and NC State 15 min easy drive. Anything you need within 10 min. Highly Recommend! Will be regulars if Daughter picks one of these colleges!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Whispering Hopes for a long weekend while visiting family in the area. The apartment is very clean and modern. All the necessities are available to make your stay comfortable. The horse farm was amazing and our kids loved being able to pet the horses. The family was so wonderful and helpful. We would definitely stay again! The Abrams Family
