Carriage house is 3 levels and very well designed. Main floor is, open area with new Bamboo flooring, Kitchen w. farmhouse deep sink, concrete counters and eat at breakfast bar, Dining table expands to seat 4. Living room with fold out LoveSeat and smart TV and very nice main floor bathroom with shower.
Fenced front yard with grass and beautiful garden, water fountain in charming courtyard with coffee conversation and lounge area, bench and bistro seating on large partially covered deck. Barbecue Grill.
Top floor is fabulous Master bedroom, with outdoor balcony, sitting area and quality queen bed, high end linens and down comforter. Master bathroom with beautiful granite, ceiling to floor mirrors has tub/shower and work out area - room for practicing yoga, BOSU or light weight work.
Third, basement level, room is bedroom with full size high quality bed and designer headboard as well as cozy nook with pillows galore that also serves as closet and could be made into infant or toddler bed, play area. Room has a large flat screen Smart TV with DVD/BlueRay/WIFI Smart unit, desk for work/study station, Playnook with games, toys, books, video and book library!
Being located in West Highlands is the way to experience Denver! You are couple blocks to walk to the shops of Highlands (32nd) as well as Tennyson Street with all the hippest restaurants, bars and shops in town! Close to many parks, including Sloans Lake , the location and this neighborhood is the HOTTEST place in Denver. You could not ask for a better location to visit this pedestrian and bike friendly city!

The carriage house in Highlands (760082) offers the perfect city stay with walking distance to many coffeehouses, restaurants, bars, shops, grocers, gyms, bookstores, etc! The Highlands neighborhood is trendy and eclectic with wonderful diversity with people and architecture! From this home, I can be downtown or on the highway headed to the mountains within 5 minutes. I love the peaceful, quiet area, the garden and charm of the carriage house!
The cabin (457015) is my slice of heaven and I enjoy sharing it with others! It is the perfect get-away, to connect with nature, play in the great outdoors, relax and cherish the moments! While you can still 'connect' there, it is easy to forget about everything else when you're at the cabin! Cozy and peaceful in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. An outdoor paradise for everything you want to do - hiking, biking, rock hounding, fishing, climbing, kayaking, rafting, canoeing, x-skiing, alpine at resorts, snowshoeing, horseback riding, soaking in the nearby hot springs!

Charming, quiet neighborhood with high walk-ability factor to everywhere in Denver!
Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, coffeehouses, etc in Highlands Square and on Tennyson Street, Sprouts, Farmers Markets and other Grocers, Gym, Spa, Sloans Lake and other parks. If driving somewhere for adventure, it is quick easy assess to 1-70 to head downtown or the Mountains! The home is private and quiet with a beautiful yard and garden and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy Colorado's 360 days of sunshine (yes, even in the snow :) The neighborhood is trendy, eclectic with lots of beauty and personality! wonderful! very much love it here in this beautiful peaceful home and space!
My husband and I stayed here Feb 2017. We had never been to the area before, and found this property in an excellent location near food, bars, and shopping, while still being quiet and accommodating.
The property is a cute and comfortable home, furnished with everything you could possibly need. Tanya (the owner) was extremely easy to work with, even when we had to cut our trip short and leave unexpectedly. We would love to visit this property again! Thanks so much Tanya!
We enjoyed our stay. You do have to park on the street and enter the property from an alley, but we had no issues finding a spot. The balcony and porch were nice. Watch yourself on the bamboo floor as it was slick and we had a couple of close calls when wearing socks on it. The neighborhood is great, and there's lots of restaurants and shops a short walk away. We'd love to come back in warmer weather!
I lived in NW Denver for 15 years before moving to the south, so when I come back to visit, I do my best to stay in Highlands. Of all the Highlands VRBO's I've sampled, this one is my favorite. The location is to die for, the space is great, loved the deck and small yard. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including laundry facilities! It's funny, I live in the country and both my husband and I noticed how much QUIETER it was in the carriage house in the middle of Denver than at our country home!
You really can't beat the location. Walking distance to Highlands Square and Tennyson. Easy bike ride to Sloan's Lake, Mile High, Downtown, etc. (Although be prepared to bike UPHill on the way home). Speaking of biking, we rented bikes at a little coffee shop/bike rental place on 29th and they were awesome. Best $60 we spent.

The home is bordered by the Highlands neighborhood (32nd and Lowell) and the Tennyson neighborhood (44th and Tennyson) which are great neighborhoods with many restaurants, shops, and pubs if you want a more neighborhood vibe vs downtown. The I-70 expressway is three blocks away which is your gateway to all the best skiing in the Rocky Mountains - Loveland 55mins, Keystone 1hr, Breckenridge 1hr10mins, Vail 1hr30mins. Many more, you choose.
Red Rocks amphitheatre 20 minutes, Blackhawk and Central City Casinos are 1hr.
All make for an easy day trip so you can stay in Denver and not have to pay resort pricing.
