Welcome to our 4 bed, 1 1/2 bath cabin. This house was originally built by a local boat captain circa 1895. Come and enjoy all that the Northern Neck has to offer, including vineyards, great restaurants, unlimited fishing opportunities, shopping and even a corn maze. This rustic cabin will take you back in time while you enjoy board games, card games, great conversation, and a porch swing that will take your heart away. There are no TVs on site by design, to bring you back to a simpler time. Enjoy the character you find around every corner. This house is located within walking distance between two marinas, one of which has a peak season restaurant. Come and stay at our bay get away and leave the stress behind.
The owner, Chris, was extremely nice and accommodating. He called and talked with me personally after the reservation was made and provided his phone number in case we needed him at any time, day or night. A nice, secluded get-away for the three nights we were there.
We stayed 3 nights. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. It was very clean, quiet and peaceful. Every morning I sat on the front porch swing, drank coffee and enjoyed the sunrise. The pictures I took look like they belong on a postcard. It is a hidden treasure. We had 7 adults and the only draw back was the one full bath, but we managed just fine. We would definitely stay again.
This 1900's era home is a refreshing step back in time to a quieter pace. Lounging on the front porch swing, kids playing under the big tree, relaxing watching the boat traffic going in and out of Reedville. The wonderful seafood restaurants of Reedville are just a quick jaunt away.
The house is exactly as described. The owner is doing a great job of restoring and fixing up the place. Millionaire row this is not, but the rental prices reflects that difference.
We have stayed here several times and would say it is great for a quiet relaxing stay, or if working on a boat at nearby Jennings Marina, or a group headed out fishing. And don't forget about the Tangier ferry just down the street.
