I'm a native Michigander and alumnus of the University of Michigan.
My small technology consulting business has offices in both Ann Arbor, MI and Nashville, TN and I call both cities home. My sig other is based in San Francisco, CA. My 3 brothers live throughout the US and Korea with their families; I have 9 nieces and nephews who I try to see as much as possible. I'm an avid traveler.
I love to entertain. That might mean planning a trip to Key West for my friends or hosting a 7 course dinner party at home. I also try to stay active and have completed a variety of adventure races including Ironman Canada.
Owner/Manager purchased this house in 2002
We gathered here for the holidays with family from out of town. Beautiful home, lots of amenities, great location and off street parking. Everything you could ask for was provided. A charming home with high tech upgrades.
We spent Thanksgiving in Ann Arbor visiting friends. There were six of us and Tim's house was perfect. It had four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and was in a great location. Everything was spotless, bathrooms were updated. We arrived late at night but were able to enter through a keypad on the door. Tim supplied coffee, coffeecake, eggs and creamer for our first morning which was much appreciated. I was able to cook several dishes to take to my friend's house for her Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen was fully equipped, it even had a potato ricer!
The location was perfect ! We could walk to downtown, lots of shopping and restaurants. The University was also within walking distance.
We will be returning for Thanksgiving in two years and hope that this lovely home is available. It met all our needs.
We stayed for two nights, we attended a Gala at U of M. The house was extremely clean, updated and easy to get to. The owner even sends a video of location, how to enter the home and even operate the light switches. We travel to Ann Arbor a couple times a year, and will always look at this house to stay at.
Tim owner obviously has a lot of pride (and class) in his home and wants to share. Place was clean yet cozy and very well furnished. Great location too. Very quiet and walking distance to all. Great kitchen. Nice coffee and espresso setup. Would definitely stay again!
We traveled to Ann Arbor for my son’s wedding, and this house is in an ideal location: on a quiet street within walking distance to downtown, close to a shopping center (Albertson’s, coffee shops), a short drive to I-94 for other destinations. We took walks every morning in the the leafy neighborhood and through the many parks.
The kitchen is fully equipped: Keurig coffee brewer, an espresso machine and milk foamer, large fridge, dishwasher, wine glasses, cooking utensils to meet the demands of a 5-star chef … every accoutrement imaginable. We sat around the large dining room table (plenty of chairs) and connected to the Sonos speaker to listen to music stored on our phones. House has wifi and a couple flat screens. The bathrooms are newly renovated, and with three bedrooms on one floor and another on the top floor everyone had privacy.
Tim, the owner, met us on arrival and oriented us to his home and to places in the area, such as the cool Bivouac store downtown. During our stay we had a couple questions for Tim, and he answered presto via texting. He’s a super-fine host, wants his guests to have a memorable stay (we did, including my relatives from Europe and California who were delighted) and feel at home. We certainly did!
Lovely home retaining historical charm while providing modern kitchen and updated baths. Unusual to find 2 baths on 1 floor in historical homes. The owner is thoughtful and provided so many extras to make one feel at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to AA. Quiet neighborhood wirh easy access to downtown.
