Beautiful area and a very well-kept cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a great long weekend at this historic cabin. It is amazing to think that this comfortable and well accommodated cabin was originally built one year before the civil war began! There is a great fire pit and handmade bench swing in the yard, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sipping hot cocoa on a chilly night. We recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a great central place for all of the local hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain biking, and craft breweries in the area.

Perfect weekend in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

Very home-like atmosphere in a well-maintained historic cabin with stunning views and easy access to Waynesville. Both well-appointed bedrooms are up winding stairs with their own baths. We enjoyed using the outdoor firepit and spacious decks. The owner was pleasant and accommodating.

Charming getaway with a great view and location!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming mountain cabin. Plenty of room for both couples and perfectly centrally located to everything! William is a very gracious host, he even opens the home for you and greets you on arrival. We really enjoyed the oversized fire pit, William even provided the already cut would. We would definitely recommend and look forward to additional stays.

Quaint, Quiet, Quality relaxation destination!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the cabin for our short stay to move our Son into college over the weekend. Thus we didn't get to enjoy all the WONDERFUL features of this lovely property. The host was very accomodating, insuring that we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. We will surely return when we can REALLY enjoy the features of the cabin and beauty of the surrounding area. Highly recommended this locale to get a way, relax and reset your own compass.
