Camp SMOGR is the perfect Getaway. SMOGR stands for SixMilesOfGravelRoad - that's really a very good road up from US Route 6, past old strip mines, across endless pipelines, past old and new logging roads, right to your Vacation Cabin. This is a Non-Commercial rental cabin offering guests exclusive use of the property to enjoy the recreation opportunities and beauty of the forest. Fully furnished, so all you bring are your meals, plenty of easy parking, full bath, two bedrooms, sleeps up to six guests, cell service, TV & DVD, library and trail maps ! So sorry - no WiFi yet. Winter season guests need all-wheel-drive or 4wd vehicle. The road is plowed, but sudden accumulation of snow is usual.

Cozy warm and inviting!
Lila is a fabulous hostess. She waited for our arrival after our travel delay! The cabin is great! A nice wood stove with plenty of firewood and a unique location at the top of the hill! Nice kitchen with bedroom and bath nearby. I recommend you book this gem!
So glad you fellows enjoyed your stay. I love that special location, too. So peaceful. Hoping you can return next year.
Great weekend get-a-way!
Cozy cabin - perfect for a family of 4 with dogs! Great for relaxing in the cabin and also close to hiking with amazing views of the PA Grand Canyon
Relaxing stay in the mountains
We had a great relaxing long weekend here. Such a cute cabin with everything you need—just bring your clothes and food to cook! So close to Wellsboro and great hiking, especially Colton Point State Park. It is secluded and quiet and indeed up 6 miles of gravel road—bring your 4wd vehicle in the late fall/winter. Thanks Lila for making us and our three Pekingese feel so welcome at Camp Smogr. We will be back!
Cozy cabin ... thoughtful host.
We wish we had had more time, and we'd definitely return. The owner is attentive to detail ... very dog friendly ... a great place if you have horses. (Bottled drinking water might be a good idea.) If you're using your phone's navigation system to get to the cabin, you may lose the signal in the last six miles, so a print-out of the last leg may be helpful. If you enjoy hiking, the horse trail is right out back, but also look for the Blue Run Rocks Hiking Trail loop that's nearby. It's a 3.5 mile loop through an older mixed forest with some beautiful waterfalls (when the waters are running). Waterproof boots are a must! The rocks themselves are a photogenic stop.
a very nice get away from it all !!
My wife and I loved this place. If you are looking for a very private and secluded place for a getaway , this is the place for you. We stayed for 4 days and didn't see another sole the entire time although the property is surrounded by other cabins.. Cabin is very well kept. Also it is with in a short drive to the PA. Grand Canyon.
So kind of you. Thank you! And I hope you can return soon.
Made several new family memories playing games at night and watching wildlife during the day.
I still don't understand why most of your texts did not get through to me. Some did, but others not.
