Welcome to our relaxing log cabin on beautiful seventeen mile pond or as locals call it Silver Lake! Our waterfront home is a fisher mans paradise. Silver Lake is a spring fed lake with aqua blue clear water. It is the 2nd most pristine lake in FL (No motor boats allowed) that's 300+/- acres and approximately 62 ft deep. Enjoy fishing, swimming, Canoeing, kayaking and scuba diving! Our 1064 square foot cabin offers a large open living room with high vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher over looking dining area and living. Washer and Dryer off front porch in locked storage. Living has comfy leather sofa and love seat and a swivel/rocking leather recliner along with another chair with ottoman and tiffany floor lamp ideal for reading. Wood burning stone fireplace and large flat screen tv with directv. Football lovers we have NFL Sunday Ticket!
Master bedroom overlooks beautiful Silver Lake and has brand new king size bed along with a futon couch. Also has a flat screen tv. Full bath with glass enclosure inside master and a large walk in closet.
Guest bedroom includes 1 queen and 1 full size bed with small tv. Guest bath off of hallway has soaking tub.
Large covered porches on both the front and back of home. Fire pit on lake side.
Storage below home holds 2 Kayaks with paddles and 1 paddle board with paddle along and canoe with paddles seats two adults and one child with 6 life vests. Vests must be worn on boats.
Our cabin is only 53+/- miles to ''The World's Most Beautiful Beaches'' of Panama City Beach and 17 miles from the Marianna courthouse. We are located in Jackson county close to many activities such as the Florida Caverns State Park, Blue Springs Recreational Park, Chipola River that runs through, known for scenic canoeing and kayaking. Grab a tube and relax floating down the pristine waters of Spring Creek, one of Jackson County's well-known ecotourism spots. Canoes and kayaks are also welcome on Spring Creek fed by 202 acre Merritt's Mill Pond. The 2-mile creek meets the scenic Chipola River for another 1.9 miles downstream, providing a 4-hour tubing experience on the crystal clear water.
