Our beautiful family designed home has the quintessential West Coast log architecture nestled amongst the tress in a quiet family neighbourhood at the foot of Whistler mountain.

We are a true locally owned, family operated vacation home in the heart of Whistler. We are fully licensed by the Municipality of Whistler (licence no 70345) and we do not advertise on Airbnb.

There are two vacation homes at Brio House. This advert is for the main ground floor home, featuring private pathway to your cedar framed entrance into a beautiful heated mud room and living area with floor to ceiling windows. This home features 1280 sq ft of beautifully furnished space sleeping 8, with three bedrooms and a sofa sleeper in the tv room. The home enjoys direct access to the enclosed family garden complete with play set, 5 hole golf putting green & hot tub.

We are perfect for families with children, especially younger kids. We are also pet friendly.

We have safe off street parking, free wifi and everything you would expect at home....HD Telus optik tv, Netflix, games / media room.

We love our location. It is an easy 10-12 minute walk into Whistler village, 5 minutes from Whistler golf course & driving range, 3-4 minutes on a bike to the bike park or nearby trails, or a breezy 2 minute drive to the shops or car parks.

We believe in offering real value for money, and keeping family vacations in Whistler affordable for families. Our home was fully renovated in 2015/2016 and enjoys among its many features a brand new Beachcomber hot tub in the private enclosed garden, free off road parking, vaulted beamed ceilings 18 feet with floor to ceiling windows, free high speed wifi, Telus Optik TV, bike tools, secure bike & ski storage, bike work area and the benefit of having an owner living on site providing a seamless vacation experience.

OVERVIEW

Arriving in Brio feels a little special. This is a neighbourhood of luxury properties. The house is beautifully framed against the backdrop of Whistler mountain, with beautiful wooden features and lighting. Your own reserved parking space, leads to a gentle sloping pathway, easy for strollers and the less sure footed, leading straight to your front door and mud room. The house is split into two large units, and the home advertised here occupies the entire lower level of the property. When in Whistler the owners occupy the upper level. Neither property intrudes on the other and both compliment the Whistler lifestyle.

STORAGE

There are cavernous wardrobes lining the mud room entrance to keep and dry jackets and all that is winter, with a secure locking ski rack outside the front door. Remember this is BC, no shoes in the house!

Access to a large storage room from within the house allows for putting suitcases and other things away to remove clutter. The same storage unit has outside access for secure bike storage for up to 6 bikes in the summer.

SWEETLY STOCKED KITCHEN:

The gorgeous, newly remodeled kitchen has custom lighting, modern granite countertops and stylish soft close drawers & cupboards. It’s fully stocked with everything you need to cook and bake, including roasting pans for a Thanksgiving turkey. We’ve stocked the kitchen with the BEST because that’s what we would want!

RELAXING

The main living room is just across from the kitcehen, interspaced with a beautiful marble dining table, and seating for 6. The hardwood floors, and 15 ft vaulted ceilings are all framed with floor to ceiling windows, providing for a light luxurious feel in which to sink into one of the large sofa's and enjoy a movie, or some sports on the 42' HD Smart TV, linked to Telus Optik on demand. If music is your thing, there is the incredible SONOS streaming audio speaker, which give a full sound without needing to 'pump it out'! This is quintessential Whistler living.

FLEXIBILITY

Just off the main living room is the chill out zone. A room designed to either retreat with a book or watch the hockey in peace; or surrender it to the kids. Complete with a HD TV, Blu Ray DVD & XBOX ONE, board games, books & toys, let the kids watch or chill out within arms reach, while you can relax....when as the last time that happened!

The sofa in this room pulls out into a full double, making this an occasional bedroom without disturbing the full living space.

SLEEPING

There are three bedrooms thoughtfully placed away from the living and dining zone for those that want to retreat early; or stay in a little longer.

Bedroom 1 is a small double room with a twin over double bunk; perfect for a couple or 3 kids sharing.

Bedroom 2 is a large Queen room, with large fitted storage Smart HD TV and the two bedrooms access the full bathroom just outside their doorway.

Bedroom 3 is a the master suite with full Queen bed, ensuite bathroom & smart HDTV.

All bedrooms enjoy beautiful bamboo linens, hypoallergenic pillows, and luxury towels. WE've tried to think of everything so you don't have to.

TECHNOLOGY

If you hadn't caught on already we recognize the need to stay connected, and that thoughtful technology enhances enjoyment and relaxation. Enjoy complimentary high speed wireless internet, streaming audio, Smart HD televisions, Blue Ray DVD, XBOX ONE, and for those like us that need it, a baby monitor!

This is a high level of comfort and furnishings.

OUTSIDE

Your living room and chill out room both have doors that open onto the back garden and lead to the hot tub. For the summer months & golf enthusiast, as well as been only half a kilometre from Whistler Golf Course, we have our own five hole putting green on artificial turf; don't be fooled by how easy it looks! (and don't let our 4 year old challenge you!)

For the little one's there is a swing set, climbing frame and sand pit.

CONVENIENCE

We KNOW how valuable your vacation time is, and we will work with you to ensure this is one vacation you will want to repeat. We promise to work with you to help you reduce your baggage allowance if your flying, saving you money, or reduce the amount you try to squeeze into the trunk for have a long drive.

Our standing inventory includes too much to list here, but includes everything a baby / toddler will need (except clothes, you need to bring those!) We have a Baby Bjorn sleep cot, high chairs, booster seat, McLaren Stroller, toy chest, kids books from baby to boomer. An Xbox One, High Speed internet, Blue Ray DVD, kids bike with training wheels (or without) a trail-a-bike, and if you ask, we can usually find it or refer you to where you can get it. We can even organize the babysitter!

KIDS, GLORIOUS KIDS:

Brio House is a child-safe home and the perfect place for families with children of ALL ages. We are the proud parents of a 4-year-old son and a 1-year-old son, and we understand and know what it’s like to travel with children! We have thought of everything your family could possibly need and Brio House is fully stocked to be your home away from home. The highlight of the unit is kids’ chill out room furnished with toys and dress-up clothes to entertain your children for hours. And no need to pack the bulky strollers! We provide a high-end McClaren Mini stroller or iCandy for infants; just for your little vacationers! Nothing but the BEST - that’s the BRIO HOUSE WAY!

Whistler is our home. Our family live, work and go to school in our community and we are very proud of what Whistler offers Canadians and International visitors. As a family we have owned and managed vacation homes in Whistler since 2012. As parents of two young boys, we recognize how difficult planning a vacation can be, especially when children are young. We have tailored our home to be stroller / wheelchair friendly, and strive to provide an inventory that helps families to know what will be in the home when they arrive, such as a baby sleep cot / play yard, baby bath, stroller, high chair, children dining plates, cutlery and of course our super safe enclosed yard with swings, play house and slide. For older kids they have the opportunity to have their own private tv / media room with smart TV/ Xbox one, books or games, allowing parents & family some well earned down time.

We strive to be a truly family friendly home from home, and we have endeavoured to include everything we think a young family will need while on vacation, so that you don't have to worry about it. If your an older family, or simply friends enjoying time in Whistler, then our inventory will suit you down to the ground. We've tried to think of everything.

There are no stairs or steps, making life easy for strollers, the less sure footed, or wheelchairs.

Entering the home through the heated mudroom, allowing you to feel instantly at home with the real flame fireplace, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, luxury furnishings, and a host of other luxury features. There is space for everyone with a separate chill out room that doubles as a kids room, reading room and 4th bedroom, with luxury pull out queen sofa.

The bedroom wing keeps sleeping separate from living. Our bedrooms are playfully named after our favourite ski runs.

'Spanky's Ladder' - Our smallest bedroom, but my no means least comfortable room, packs a great flexible sleeping solution for families, while still affording a fabuous nights sleep for adult guets. Home to a beautiful dark hardwood framed twin over full double bunk, both with luxury mattresses and bedding, all new for 2016 Ski Season. Complete with under bed storage, anique cabinetry and a wall mounted smart TV, this is a great bedroom for anyone!

'Jersey Cream' - Named jersey Cream, after Sarah's very favourite run on Blackcomb, and the art work we have chosen which are limited edition prints , extensive fitted wardrobes, queen bed with luxury Tempur Pedar mattress, this might be the bext choice of room for parents needing to use a cot.

'7th Heaven' - Is our Romantic En Suite master bedroom. A retreat within a retreat, with beuaitful Queen bed, postur pedic luxury mattress, and en suite master bathroom (new for 2016).

We have a saying here in Whistler..... 'In Whistler, it's down to the little things' and there are so many 'little things' that we hope they amount to one great big amazing vacation.

So welcome to our neighbourhood, a resplendant neighbourhood of discreet luxury properties, framed against the backdrop of Whistler mountain where mountain tranquility trasncends into flexibility and ease of access to the village. A difficult combination to beat. Whistler vilage and the ski lifts are a 10-15 minute walk away; depending on your pace. With young kids (and we have two of them) it is a fun 20 minute stroll, with a few snowball fights and sliding runs en route!

Perfect Whistler home

Stunning home. Everything about this lovely house was perfect. The location is excellent, you are between Pemberton and Squamish, a short walk to Whistler Village. The owners have taken care to make the home high end in every way. The appliances, furniture, artwork, technology...everything has been designed to make your stay perfect. Top that off with a peaceful backyard , patio , putting green, hot tub, and even a swing set! The owners were friendly, kind, and attentive. We highly recommend Brio, if we ever return, we will be in this home.

Walkable to Village and Trails

Comfortable, clean and conveniently located. The hosts live upstairs onsite and were very hospitable and understanding with our dogs who were more anxious than normal. Despite the close quarters, they did a wonderful job of maintaining our privacy during our stay. Would recommend.
