Note: VRBO Online Booking is available, but payment is directly to Owner. Call or text me at 505.989.1088 or I will phone you to clarify my personalized system and policies prior to reserving. A decade of practice makes this a pleasant process! Thank you.

Newly built in 2010 (purchased by Victoria July 2015), Casita Ristra is a freestanding house artfully created to give one couple or one single that perfect luxury downtown home experience. Read my reviews, please, as even my great photos don't quite show how exceptional the feeling in the casita truly is! You will find the newly furnished interior wonderfully inviting and enjoy the outdoor privacy. This luxurious property is quiet and yet only three blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, two short blocks from the Georgia O’Keeffe museum and one from the Santa Fe Convention Center.

A generous, tastefully designed beautiful space, Casita Ristra has high ceilings, hand-carved beams in every room, numerous skylights and historic-style divided-light windows. The Southwest rugs and entire interior color scheme warm and brighten the spirit. The private coyote-fenced flagstone patio in the front courtyard is perfect for coffee or barbecue at the umbrella table seating 4 (for your old or new friends!) The bedroom patio is protected by a pergola so you can relax and stay cool with drinks or a book even during a hot afternoon Summer rain shower.

You will feel at home with the ample kitchen and bathroom cabinet storage and supplies, granite tile and custom countertops, stainless steel appliances, comfortable leather sectional couch (facing TV AND the traditional woodburning kiva fireplace!), Canadian birch dining table with attractive upholstered chairs, a stunning bathroom with walk-in shower. The king bed in the large bedroom has fine linens, soft pillows, a new top-quality mattress and a 32" Smart HD flatscreen TV and Preferred Cable. The livingroom has an extra large Smart HD flatscreen TV and Preferred Cable and kiva fireplace (with complimentary first-fire pinon firewood set-up). The kitchen is fully and thoughtfully equipped with added conveniences, a gas stove, double-door stainless refrigerator (filtered water and ice), high-end microwave, and handsome tableware.

Other amenities include "real" refrigerated central air-conditioning and forced air heating system, free super-high-speed wireless internet, washer/dryer/laundry basket, good closet space with lots of hangers, full-length mirror, luggage racks and extra blankets. One off-street parking space is included as well.

We clean the casita ourselves, so it is CLEAN (read: immaculate) and everything works! You will love the sense of how much care has been put into making this your favorite place to retreat, while being right downtown Santa Fe.

About Victoria Rogers

I am Victoria Rogers - retired RN and practicing massage therapist of 20 years and now caring for others wanting homes in Santa Fe as a conscientious Realtor! I own and manage my properties finding usefulness for a lifetime of professional experiences, too many and numerous to mention (see http://www.victoria-rogers.com). Bringing beauty to the environment, love to the people and happiness to every experience is my specialty, and meeting guests who expect less but get so much more also gives me a lot of pleasure. I was entranced by New Mexico in 1979 and since then, I've had a romance with the land and the culture that is wonderful to share with new and return discoverers of the region. I continue with my photographic work, some of which is permanently archived at the New Mexico Museum of Art. In April 2011, my collaborative book 'Santa Fe's Historic McKenzie Neighborhood' was published with history and original artwork of the architecture of the area where the casita is located. For a few years, I presented more than 80 jazz concerts in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Taos. You are invited to contact me for the benefits of an exceptional massage at the casita so you can reset and really fully enjoy your vacation. Or request special tips on what Santa Fe has to offer (from a local), for short-term or longterm visits or life change (I'm a New Mexico licensed Santa Fe Realtor!)

Why Victoria Rogers chose Santa Fe

Having owned and managed a number of vacation rentals in this wonderful historic neighborhood, I am delighted to add the exceptionally attractive, comfortable and ideally located Casita Ristra to bring a quality experience to visitors to Santa Fe. Other properties you can reserve are right next door, so ask me for options to mix 'n match!

What makes this house unique

Dashing out to an event or gallery around the Plaza or strolling into town or along the river on a Summer's eve or when snowflakes are falling after dark, spontaneously stopping into a cafe for delicious New Mexican cuisine just a couple of blocks away, snuggling up in the living room in front of the kiva fireplace while fragrant pinon is burning, listening to the quiet during siesta or at bedtime, not having to get parking when going to a nearby museum, restaurant or performance - these are a few of my favorite things staying downtown in our area. I'm pretty sure you'll consider a massage with me in the casita a "unique benefit" (reminder: I'm a retired RN in private massage therapy practice more than 20 years) or invite me to bring my portfolio for some inspiration. You can also talk real estate with me - I'm experienced and happy to share my knowledge and expertise!

Stylish, Great Location, Top Notch Service!

  • 5 of 5

Casita Ristra was a beautiful home away from home for our stay in Santa Fe. With 2 inviting patios, stylish furnishings and a very comfortable bed, it was perfect. The location is convenient to all the shops and restaurants at the Plaza and close enough to the Farmers Market that you can walk there. It's outfitted with everything you need. With 2 inviting patios, stylish furnishings and a very comfortable bed, it was perfect.

Victoria was very responsive when I notified her that I may have lost an earring somewhere at the casita. When it was found a couple weeks later by a guest, she mailed it back to me - now that's customer service!

I've already recommended Casita Ristra to my friends and am happy to recommend it here.

This is a wonderful getaway in Santa Fe. The Casitas is within walking distance of the plaza which was just great because we didn't have to get in the car. After a day of walking around the plaza and into the shops it was such a welcoming, calming experience. We loved sitting on the patio in the afternoon listening to music.I especially liked the skylights. Such beautiful light coming in it was almost like a Zen experience. We will definitely be back.

Quiet, in the middle of everything.

  • 5 of 5

Staying in Santa Fe as a "local" in a beautiful modern adobe home was fantastic!

Easy access whether driving to another location or walking to the plaza - we loved it!

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

This little Casita was perfect for my husband and I. Victoria's taste in decorating suited us perfectly. She was full of information about Santa Fe and the surrounding area. The Casita was private, spacious, airy and so convenient to the Plaza and shopping areas. We walked everywhere.

We would highly recommend a stay at Casita Ristra.

Emphasis is on the extraordinary location - 3 blocks (3/10-mile) from the heart of downtown Santa Fe - the Plaza! - and also to the Guadalupe Railyard District. Walk to museums/galleries/restaurants/shopping/churches, absolutely everything (even the buses that can take you the 3 or so miles to Museum Hill for the Folk Art Museum, Wheelright, Spanish Colonial Museum and Botanical Gardens!)

Owner is HAPPY to make suggestions for the places not to miss seeing, special events, share links for more information, provide tips on daytrips and routes.

There is so much to see and do in Santa Fe. Hopefully you are coming for a bunch of days and can really enjoy the visit and also have a wonderful retreat in your quiet, private, luxury casita.
