Awesome cabin!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is well laid out and has everything we could have needed for a great New Years weekend. Beyond that, it backs right up to the forest, and it's a short 5-10 minute hike to hop on the Easy Street run and ski right down into the Bear Mountain lift area. We had a blast, and Greg was super responsive and helpful. Fantastic cabin, great owners!

Very pleased!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at the chocolate moose cabin! We are a family of 4 (and a baby) and were joined by my sister-in-laws family of 4 and we all fit very comfortably in the cabin. The kids loved their private room and especially how they each got their own bed (bunk beds)! The adults were comfortable in their own rooms as well! It was a perfect fit. The BEST part was the backyard. A natural sledding zone! The kids enjoyed sledding down the hills without having to work hard to create their own. We literally just walked 20 yards out back and we had a sledding paradise! Very cozy, enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely love to return again, thanks sue and Greg!

Cozy Family Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay at "Chocolate Moose". Outdoor snow play was great and proximity to Bear Mountain skiing was good. We were able to do a combination of walking/skiing and car drop off/pick ups to access Bear Mountain for my daughter's ski lessons. For those with very young beginner skiers Bear's facility is safer than Summit, with a totally closed off "kid's only fun zone", so no out of control skier danger from above. In summary: conveniently close to safest kid's beginner skiing yet very quiet location. Beautiful forest in the backyard, we would stay here again!
