About Molly Lane

My husband and I fell in love with and recently purchased this property with the hopes of building lots of memories with our children in the mountains. We hope they develop the same love for the Colorado outdoors that we have!

Beautiful & Relaxing Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four (including a preschooler & toddler) loved our Father's Day weekend at this great Keystone condo. The views of the surrounding mountains and creek are beautiful and relaxing from the back balcony. The unit itself is immaculate, well-equipped and very comfortable. The bedrooms are so cozy that the kids slept better than ever during our stay and keep asking to go back! Check in/out was a breeze and the owners are fantastic! An added bonus is the location - close to River Run, a short drive to nearby mountain towns, and yummy convenient breakfast spot (Haywood) right across the parking lot. Hope to return again soon!

Nice place,

  • 5 of 5

The only negative is the outside trash receptacles were too small and we ended up taking trash with us because they were full. However would consider staying there again in the future.

Convenient, comfortable and quiet get away

  • 4 of 5

PROS: In Keystone for a diabetes conference and wanted something I could "come home to" after sessions each day. Molly responds quickly to reservation. Very convenient to everything Keystone has to offer. Really well stocked with things other condos do not have. For example there was a humidifier in each bedroom (essential to avoid nose bleeds and improve physical comfort at 10K feet elevation), fans (not needed this time but it can get toasty in the mountains sometimes); a step stool, games and books for kids, a well furnished kitchen (crock pot, blender, sharp knives) and a washer and dryer. The main bedroom bed is nice, a bit too soft for my comfort but lovely non-the less. The second bedroom has a bunk bed that sleeps 3 and an extra mattress tucked under the bed in case there is a need for more sleeping spaces. Plenty of great towels!! A grill WITH the charcoal to use it is provided! Deck chairs are uncomfortable but there. The building is outdated and could use some upgrades. There is a great bike/walking path right outside the back! CONS: The front door was broken and would not shut properly. The management company was notified and made a temporary adjustment that still required us to be careful that it had securely shut. There is no swimming pool, one of hot tubs was broken and the key for access did not work. Management was to bring us a new key but never did. We found food wrappers and clothing tags in the sheets of the bunk bed. Made us wonder if the sheets had been changed. There was popcorn and other debris under the couch and on the floors in the living room. The dining table had sticky food rings on it and the kitchen sink was not clean. Since you are charged a $100 cleaning fee, it would be nice to walk into a clean unit when you arrive!

There are no instructions on how to work the TV/cable. If you cannot connect to the internet per the instructions provided call the 800#. The password was outdated and we spent too much time trying to figure out what we were doing wrong before calling the number. Overall: We would rent again, but would make sure to ask the the unit and beds be clean before we arrive. Easily could have 6-8 people in the unit during the summer when we were outside playing but it might be a tight fit during the winter months when the common space might get more crowded. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to another visit. Make sure to check out the Haywood Cafe (a 3 min walk). Best breakfast and food in area!

Amazing view and extremely responsive owner!

  • 4 of 5

Waking up to a new blanket of snow on a fairy tale view of the mountain was a great way to start our first week of family skiing in Keystone. This condo was clean and well maintained. We loved the fireplace and comfy sofas big enough for all 5 of us. Best of all, was the incredibly responsive owner. We had trouble with the VRBO app for check-in -- they sent us to the wrong management company. But Molly was there to help immediately, even after 10pm! Come to find out she had sent us different check in directions, which we didn't check because we thought that VRBO had us covered. Furthermore, thoughout the week, Molly was always available for questions or to help handle whatever came up. She had also been great answering our pre-trip questions. We truly appreciated her professionalism, friendliness and efficiency.

Great location in comfortable condo with an interested owner

  • 5 of 5

Our family of three with one teenager in tow, enjoyed our stay here on our first ski trip to Keystone. The condo has a wonderful view of the Mountain House Base area. It was great to wake up to the slopes in the morning and see the lights for skiing in the night. The condo is also on the Red Route shuttle into River Run base. We chose to drive every morning to one of the free lots as we found that easier with skis. Walking into the village area is also easy. The condo is well equipped, with some laundry and dishwashing supplies provided, which was great for us. Outside parking is right by the entrance to the building. We did hear the people walking in the condo above from time to time, but that didn't bother us. We ate out a few times, and really enjoyed the Snake River steakhouse which is just across from the condo. Good food and great service. We also loved the Sunshine Cafe in Silverthorne for breakfast. Silverthorne or Dillon are the best places to go for more of a restaurant selection, and for groceries. We liked City Market. We did notice a couple of cleaning issues, but still give the property a 5 star rating because Molly, the owner, was so responsive and grateful for getting our feedback.
