|Minimum Stay||1 - 2 nights|
Cozy furnished studio apartment with an amazing water view up the Georgia Straight and memorable sunsets. Kitchen, full bathroom, Queen size bed & TV. Deck, private entrance. Located in woods up steep, gravel road. Apartment is attached to our home.
A wonderful, rustic hideaway on a magical island.
Charming, studio apartment with large deck, breath-taking views of the shipping lanes and Canada. The views don't stop at night--we have star gazing galore on a clear nite. And you can see the lights of Vancouver from the deck.
I love hiking, gardening, decorating with an extra passion for vintage lamps. Dan and I own the local bicycle shop on Orcas called Wildlife Cycles.
We love our home and it's a real pleasure to share this special spot with others. We have been so fortunate to host wonderful people here over the past year.
Owner / Property Manager Vicki Leimback purchased this studio in 2014
We looked for six years and fell in love with this home immediately!. It has big timbers, stained glass, tall ceilings and an amazing view! Was extra perfect since it had a fully functional apartment attached to the house. We are about 400' up the side of Buck Mountain. It's very private here. Love the birds, the deer and occasional raccoon.
The view never gets tiring.
Sitting on the deck is so relaxing. And from the bed in the studio you can enjoy the water view. We are on a little over 9 acres. and although private, we are just 2 miles from town.
We were thrilled to host this couple on their very special day! They were wonderful to have here and we hope they return to celebrate in the future.
Vicki and Dan paid such care in making us feel at home. We were greeted with a wood stove ready to be lit, snacks on the table, fresh eggs, coffee, and cream in the fridge, and lots of information about what to do on Orcas, including Vicki's favorite places to eat! Vicki spent time showing us the expansive, beautiful view, explaining the geography, and answering our questions. It's the perfect location for a trip to the island and, as previously mentioned, it has an unbelievable view. The space itself is cozy and cute and a pleasure to hang out in. We had a great visit!
The Robin Song retreat is spectacular. The cabin overlooking the sea could not be in a more beautiful location. My wife and I stayed there for 2 days to attend a wedding and immediately regretted not staying longer. Vicki, the owner, is wonderful. She left eggs and coffee for us to make and gave us detailed recommendations of things to do while in Orcas Island. You won't regret staying in this place.
Vicki was a wonderful host. The property was beautiful, peaceful, yet only a mile from all the shops and dining on the island. Views were amazing, and the studio had everything you need as well as a comfy bed. It is truly a 5 star place!
Out of the way and quiet. Orcas Island is one beautiful place to see. Great get away for a couple. 😆
Robin Song is a gem! Vicki was a gracious host, and made us feel welcomed right from the start. The new deck is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the sunset and birds. For someone living in the Seattle area, it was a wonderful retreat from the noise and hustle bustle of city life! Thank you, Vicki for sharing your quiet escape with us!
My husband, son, and I absolutely loved our stay here. The description of the location was accurate and perfect for the three of us. The bed was so comfy and already heated upon our arrival. We had every amenity needed to enjoy our stay. Vicky, the owner was just absolutely the best and was very attentive to our needs. Our only regret was that our stay was so short. We will be sure to stay here when we return to the island and will definitely recommend it to our family and friends.
