Threeways is a spacious two floor apartment with WiFi offering high quality self catering in the heart of Keswick in the Northern Lake District. The property offers three spacious bedrooms, is situated above a local outdoor shop and has views towards the Coledale Horseshoe and Skiddaw range. It has been given a 4* rating by Visit Britain.

Threeways sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms - one double and two twin rooms. There is a large family bathroom on the upper floor and a shower room with WC on the lower floor. The fully fitted kitchen opens onto the large dining room and lounge where there is a colour television with Sky TV, DVD player, DAB radio & Sony portable Bluetooth speaker, two comfortable sofas, books and board games.

Close by are restaurants, galleries, a wide variety of shops, cafes, a Saturday market, cinema, theatre and much more. There is a private parking space directly outside the property and a parking permit for a second car to park in a nearby town centre car park.

Keswick is a thriving market town in the Northern Lake District. Situated on the shores of Derwentwater, the widest lake in the Lake District, and at the foot of the famous Skiddaw range of fells, the town is a popular destination for walkers, climbers and people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Tourism is a major part of Keswick yet there is still a strong local community which appeals to both the younger and older generations.

There are plenty of activities for all ages and many places where you can enjoy the serenity of the Lake District. There are restaurants offering a range of culinary delights - Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian, vegetarian and fish & chips. There is also a huge offering of cafes and bars where you can experience a range of real ales! Fitz Park is only 5 minutes walk and incorporates the cricket ground which was voted 'the most beautiful cricket ground in Britain' by a leading cricket magazine. There are also tennis courts, crown green bowling, putting, a football field and a children's play area. Alternatively you can walk down to the lake shore to catch one of the lake cruises or take a rowing boat. There is also a mini golf course in Crow Park and the Theatre by the Lake has various shows on throughout the year.

Because Threeways is in the centre of Keswick we don't use the car very much when we visit because good walks, shops, cafes, theatre, cinema etc are all walking distance.

Overall impression is excellent. We have stayed in this property seven times and each time we have enjoyed home from home facilities. It is kept in excellent condition with updates done when wanted e.g. new kitchen fittings, bathroom upgraded etc. It is well located for all amenities and a good base for other towns and walks.

Threeways is in the centre of the vibrant Cumbrian market town of Keswick on the River Greta where there are many restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, a weekly market, cinema, theatre, leisure centre and parks with play areas and putting greens. The world famous Cumberland Pencil Museum is a five minute walk. The nearest lake, Derwentwater, is only a ten minute walk and here you can enjoy a boat trip around the lake on the Keswick Launch, or hire a rowing boat. Keswick is surrounded by mountains and fells, with a choice of both low and high level walks, woodland walks, or walks by the lakes. A climb up Latrigg will reward you with some of the best views of Keswick, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite. Skiddaw is close by for the more energetic, as well as Walla Crag and the Coledale Horseshoe. Further afield you can climb Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, or visit the homes of William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, as well as National Trust properties.

Notes:
The front door to Threeways is reached by an external staircase (18 steps) at the back of an outdoor clothing shop. The apartment itself is situated on two floors above the shop with two bedrooms and a bath/shower room on the upper floor and one bedroom, spacious living area, kitchen and shower room on the lower floor. It is double-glazed throughout and has gas central heating. It has a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washer-drier, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. There is one parking space at the foot of the external staircase and a parking permit for a second car to park in a nearby town centre car park. There is ample wardrobe and drawer space in the bedrooms.
