What an amazing holiday!!! It was the best holiday I've ever been on ! The villa is quality. We both had tears in our eyes when we had to leave .We have had an amazing time in Barbados. Coverley House is a great base for the whole Island. A home from home with everything you need and expect from a luxury villa. The Gospel breakfast at the Crane on Sundays is a must. If you fell adventurous, try Zed’s surfing school, 10mins from the house. Fish Pot restaurant , as recommended by Craig and Pandy in Information pack was amazing, with a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Everything was perfect; Jackie was really nice and helped us out. I’ve recommended it to loads of people and they are interested in booking it as well
Thank ever so much again,
Sean and Nicola.
having stayed in barbados in st lawrence gap area many times before, we decided to try a villa this time, there were two couples and two older teenagers in our party and this villa seemed to suit our needs perfectly. the directions given to us were spot on and the villa was very easy to find from the airport, a tip if you are not a regular traveller to the area, turn right at bottom of the street and a few hundred yards along the road, just before the petrol station there is a doctors office, painted bright blue, if you turn right here it takes you straight onto the highway. on arrival the property manager met us and showed us around and told us how to work air con, etc. villa was very spacious and well equipped with dvds cds etc and plenty of tv channels if you have a rainy day. we found the cool box and picnic facilities to be very useful as we used them most days. we were left a welcome pack of eggs, bacon, cheese, milk, cola, teabags and a bottle of rum to get us through the first night which was wonderful! there is a supermarket just along the road, opposite the petrol station which stocked most things that we needed. the gazebo and pool outside were fabulous and very welcome, we met the staff of cleaner, gardeners and pool men during our stay who were all very friendly. only small criticisims were that the barbecue did not work when we went to use it, the telephone line and internet are not yet connected and another shower instead of a bath with mixer taps would have been useful with six people staying here. this property was ideal for our needs as a family but maybe a little too far away for young groups as you would need to get a taxi to pubs, etc and it was a ten minute ride from the gap.

When I arrive in Barbados I home, and the villa was icing on the cake, from Anthea and myself chatting to finally arriving at the villa well boy I loved it, I've visited Barbados 5 times now and can truly say this was the best place I've stayed, my wife, kids and my mother-in-law loved it, the place was safe clean and Harriet was fantastic, no complaints, will I stay here again 100% yes
We stayed at this exeptionally beautiful villa for 8 nights and quite simply, didn't want to leave. Its locaction is perfect for exploring the Island especially the East coast which is less crowded and very scenic.
The villa itself was impecably clean and had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Its the little things that make a great villa in our opinion. The kitchen cuboards are not stripped when each guest leaves so things like spices, coffee and condiments are there for you when you arrive as well as the generous welcome pack. Harriet the house keeper was lovely and took great pride in making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would have no hesitation is recommending this villa. We have stayed in many many villas throughout the Caribbean and this one is quite simply beautiful and offers exceptional value for money. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. Hope to see you again soon.
As a regular to Barbados we have stayed in hotels and apt but this time we went for this beautiful house who is better than the picturs shows. The house is spacious and the bedroom are big whit ac and very good beds :) We had a wounderful time where we mostly where sitting outside or enjoyed the pool and gazebo -and the best was that there was no mosquitos !
We rented a car and got a Nice discount when they heard we where staying at Coverly house :)
Barbados is my paradise when it come to the beaches, the weather, the Food and the People.
We have recommended this house to all Our friends by posting many Pictures on facebook and Instagram.
We will be back !
A big thanks to Anthea for keeping the suprise for Harriet, her face was out of this world !!! :)

We are veteran Caribbean villa renters and I have to say we loved this place. When we first arrived and started opening doors and windows and I said..oh no..no screens. Well I have to say that after almost 2 week we did not get a single bug bite which is unheard of in the Caribbean. Also its not really obvious but the house is on a high hill and gets constant cooling breezes. Believe me when you travel around the island you will realize the temperature at the house is way more comfortable than any beach, etc. you will go to on the island. You really have no need for air conditioning here. The house really seems brand new and is equipped with everything you could desire. The pool is COMPLETELY private and we enjoyed coming home from an adventure and diving in to cool off or enjoying a midnight swim. We had a awesome vacation and you could too so take it from me..do not hesitate to book yourself in.
The owners are excellent to deal with. They were very helpful and gave timely responses considering there was a big time difference.
The house was spotless and spacious. The kitchen was very adequately supplied as we usually spent the day at a beach, ate lunch out, and then crashed at home for a dip in the pool and dinner in the gazebo.
I never got one bite the whole trip and Mosquitos usually love me. The others had very few bites.
The weather is the same every day. Lovely. We had some heavy showers but they never lasted long and then the sun was out again. We always travelled with the umbrellas provided but seldom used them.
The beds are comfy and there are more linens and towels than you'll ever need. Halfway through the week the housekeeper comes to clean. There's a safe provided in the master bathroom. There was lots of closet space.
The filtered water in the fridge was excellent.
We were able to check out late because there was no one coming in that day. The airport is 5 minutes away, so we had our rental car returned and were through security within half an hour of leaving the house.
I would return to this house. We loved Barbados - the people, the weather, the fabulous beaches.
The property is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, on the south of the island.
You can see the sea near Miami beach from the Pool side.
Coverley house is located on the top of a hill overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The main geographical feature the property enjoys is a constant breeze and reduced amount of Mosquitoes compared to west coast properties (Holetown) we found.
Coverley is ideally situated as a base to enjoy all the beautiful features of the Island. The nearest beach is 5 minutes drive and is conveniently close to the famous fish market town of Oistins, where the full Caribbean experience of local barbecued fish is a must during your stay. The Fish fry on either Friday or Saturday (our favourite is Mo's Bajan Cooking Stall ! ). Other facilities are available in Oistins and is the Villas nearest town. The popular, St Lawrence Gap is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride, where lively nightlife and can be found. Grantly Adams International Airport is nearby.
Golf: Sunny weather all year round makes Barbados an ideal location for golfing and the perfect vacation spot for golfers. These glorious weather conditions are complimented by excellent golf courses and facilities.
The Barbados golf club is less then 2km from the Villa, the 6,805 yard par 72 golf course has been approved and sanctioned by the PGA European Tour
