Renovations are done! changing this unit from a studio to a full one bedroom. This unit is on the ground floor and has a very comfortable queen size bed on one side of the bedroom and a twin bed and crib on the other.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, hot pot, microwave, pans, and dishes. The dining table seats two-three. All linens are provided. Parking next to the unit is provided.

This is a non smoking property. Smokers are asked to please go to the street to smoke and dispose of smoking items outside the unit.

The house is secluded but also close to amenities. About a block away is the post office, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations and a very nice laundromat, South Point Suds, that has a drop off service if you do not want to stay and do your own laundry. They are open 8-6 for drop off. The cost is $1.50 per pound with a minimum of $15. The washer and dryer on property are not available to the guests.

Please make an appointment to check in and please respect that appointment. I do not live on the property and I greet my guests. I totally understand changes in plans, I just ask that you let me know ahead of the appointed time so I am not sitting there waiting.

This is a beautiful one acre fully planted property close to amenities. Two units are in one building on one end of the property and two units are on the other end. All four units have been updated and each unit is decorated in a different theme. The plants on the property are interesting and beautiful.

If you plan to stay in the area, I would highly recommend this.As a Single female, I felt very safe and secure. The property had all the essentials, and the owner was very welcoming. Instructions were clear and they were very helpful. She provided homemade breads and coffee for the morning, as well as some great fruit. The location was farther from Volcanoes National Park than I expected (which was my mistake), but it meant I explored some sights I would not have had I been closer, and some of these are great finds. Again, I highly recommend.

Great beach house without the beach

The first impression of Sandy's two level oasis was WOW! Truly one of the finer accommodations in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, and one which can be a trendsetter for other hosts. Our small compact residence for the night was perfect and had all we needed. Her detailing and fabric art wall was really cool. Cudos to Sandy for doing all the hard work, and enjoy the payoffs. We appreciated the gluten free breakfast. Thanks also to her husband who drove two miles to install new batteries in the satellite remote device.
